There’s a random encounter where you can find Mr 000, he look similar to how junji ito portrai himself.Mr. 000, your neighbor is a horror manga artist. He’s struggling to come up with a satisfying ending for his newest story.
- Drifting classroom:
The event have the same name as the manga writted by Kazuo Omezu between 1972–1974, it also have a live action movie released in 1987. As you guessed, it’s a cosmic horror manga about school childrens and the school workers, after the intro the school has somehow been transported to an otherworldly wasteland. - Hellstar Remina:
Hellstar remina it’s a manga writted by Junji ito and published in 2005, the plot talk about the discovery of a celestial body approaching to the earth, devouring any other celestial body in its path in a not so far future. Sound familiar? yup, Yolazsth the Demented Towering Eye.Media report on various people with seemingly supernatural skills.
Could it have any connection with the news about stars disappearing from the night sky?In the Drifing classroom there’s also a reference of the same manga in the event pic.
- Ribs woman:
The event look like a reference to the manga of the same name, and writted by junji ito…PD: make a section for junji ito. - The chill:
There’s a curse(mutation) called “holes” in reference to the one shot manga called “the chill”(or “shivers”) made by junji ito. also there’s a battle encounter called “hole-ridden thing” - Paranoia agent:
There’s an achievement called “Paranoia agent” in reference to the anime with the same name, directed Satoshi Kon and produced by Madhouse. to get the achievement, you need to defeat an enemy with a baseball bath, which is the weapon used by the culprint in the anime - The innsmouth:
The curse(mutation) called “insmasu look” it’s a reference to the description of the innsmouth in the cthulhu mytosThe ocean is calling
- Mermaid in a Manhole:
This achievement is a reference to the movie with the same name, the film was written and directed by Hideshi Hino in 1988

If you’re lucky enough, you can get the blue gem to unlock a special ending, a reference of silent hill franchise goofy endings, to be more specific, the ufo where you need a channeling stone to get the ufo ending and the dog ending in silent hill 2

- Kuchisake-onna:
Also know as the “Slit-Mouthed Woman”, according to legend, Kuchisake-onna was a woman who was mutilated during her life, with her mouth being slit from ear to ear. The tutorial mystery you can find a modified version of how she’s portrayed - Aka Manto:
