For Mortal Kombat 1 players who are trying to use a Playstation Controller, this guide provides a possible method to enable it.
How to Enable Playstation Controller
I’m not sure if this is a bug or just a quick with the Steam Override Configuration.
To enable the PlayStation Button inputs over the XBOX controller do the following.
1. Go into Steam Controller Setting
2. Disable Steam Overrides for all controllers.
Apparently this game has native support for all controller types and the steam overrides are confusing the game. Once I did this it replaced the Xbox inputs with the PlayStation Controller.
