Power UPs

Power UPs increase the output for MegaMan’s buster in 1 of 3 categories.
Power increases the damage a normal shot has against the enemy. Level 1 Power does 1 HP damage,
Level 2 does 2 HP damage, Level 3 does 3, Level 4 does 4, and 5 for 5. Pretty simple.
Rapid increases the speed of the buster shot, and thusly, increases the number of shots you can fire in
the same amount of time. The more you have, the faster you can shoot.
Charge allows you to charge your buster up 2 levels, for a more powerful attack. The first charge level is
green, and will multiply your buster’s Power by 8. The second is a deep pink/purple color, and multiplies
your power by 16.
So Power Level 1 charged shots would be 8 and 16, 2 would be 16 and 32, 3 would be 24 and 48, 4 would
be 32 and 64, and 5 would be 40 and 80.
The higher your buster’s Charge Level, the faster your buster will charge. It will take quite a while on
charge level two, but only seconds to reach full charge at level 5.
Note: You cannot charge your buster if your Charge Level is 1. Only Charge Level 2 or higher.Every PowerUP you collect increases MegaMan’s Status Level by 3 points.1. From Dad’s email after leaving a message with the caretaker program.
2. Inside the Water Works’ Main Network, in the area where you must fall through the ice to the paths below.
3. Jack-in to the Summer School’s blackboard in Dentown.
4. Internet Area 2, using the WWW-pin.
5. Internet Area 14, using the WWW-pin.
6. Net Merchant in Internet Area 1, buy for 2000z.
7. Net Merchant in Internet Area 1, buy for 5000z.
8. Net Merchant in Internet Area 5, buy for 20000z.
9. Net Merchant in Internet Area 10, buy for 25000z.
10. Net Merchant in Internet Area 12, buy for 25000z.
11. Net Merchant in Internet Area 12, buy for 50000z.
12. Net Merchant in Internet Area 12, buy for 100000z.

Armors

MegaMan begins with normal armor, but can buy other armors from Net Merchants. There are only
3 special armors in the game. Each one doubles MegaMan’s defense, but is weak to something different.
Wood Armor is weak to fire attacks, Heat Armor is weak to water attacks, and Aqua Armor is weak to
electric attacks. Switch accordingly. Each armor bought will add 6 points to MegaMan’s Status Level.Wood Armor – Net Merchant in Internet Area 3, buy for 15000z.
Heat Armor – Net Merchant in Internet Area 4, buy for 20000z.
Aqua Armor – Net Merchant in Internet Area 10, buy for 30000z.

Epilogue

Once you’ve gotten all of the above, MegaMan should be at Level 100, with 1000 HP
and Level 5 for each of the 3 buster attributes.Checking the math, that’s1 (start) + 45 (from 45 HP Memory) + 36 (12 Power UPs worth 3 each) + 18 (3 armors x 6 points) = 100.
