A simple guide for starting players to know the mehanics of pve content.
Classes and what they are good for
So if you wish to play other classes, simply unlock those before you start your group pve.
Sword Talaimh (warrior)
— Your job is to keep the boss npc aggro on you, while a ranged player nukes the heck out of it.
— If you lose aggro, the job of other player is to kite while you regen hitpoints at safe distance
— Once you breake the boss (stun him), you have a option to chain it (not all bosses) or switch to damage class to do more damage and then switch back
— It takes a while to unlock some skills, but from my personal preference those are best for pve.
Unique Karma Crystal:
Raging Strike — while its very close combat and easy to miss, it should be used to stun a boss into a chain attack
*Leap — its needed to get closer to boss or run away when they do large 1 ko attack
*Fortitude — increases your speed and endurance for short time
*Land Demolisher — its instant and it wont keep you in animation, as you have to dodge a lot.
Like the Land — its active all the time and increases your overall damage. Other 2 are more pvp skills.
Dance of Wind (hunter)
— Your job is to deal damage and not stand in fire
— If you gain aggro, kite the boss, but dont do to much damage so your tank can get it back
— Tank classes will die a lot, so run to them and revive them — the 2 revive charge should be saved as the revive gets longer the more you use it
— Unlike other jobs, you have a very long range attack at the start of game, so you can spam boss from safe range when needed. (i recomend using a training room)
–As for skills:
Unique Karma Crystal:
Great Spirit’s Ascent — fires up a straight attack infront of you. Its easy to miss when boss jumps a lot so use it when it stands still. Other skills is more or less pvp, as bosses realy dont need to be homed.
Storming Arrow — great for kitting, however not that huge range
Siege Mode — should only be used when boss is not chasing you — you can fire arrows much faster from long range, than a long combo — but you have to aim
Raining Arrows — should be used when boss is stunned
(rest of skills dont seem to work well on every boss as they are more pvp)
Energy of Wind — basic stat increase . As for Focused Strategy it works well when your tank is doing a job. However it makes you more of glass cannon due to lack of wisdom stat.
Diabolic Witch (mage)
— more of less a magic user, but you do way more damage than other classes, it does provide some problems
— a lot of skills have a casting time, so you will be using 3 fireballs attack all the time
— firewell skill is very strong and you should master it as soon as possible, as it deals some serios damage to bosses (its very slow moving so it should be used closer to bosses)
— unlike other classes you have the best dodge in game as you can blink via some attacks much easier
— However this class takes a lot of damage pretty easy if you are not carefull and it also creates huge aggro so its recomened to stop attacking while running away from boss
As for skills:
Unique Karma Crystal:
Meteor — easy to use and it stuns bosses pretty well. Other skill is not that great.
Mana Ray — best to be used when close enogh to boss as it doesnt have that huge range, but it does deal a lot of damage and you can dodge out of it. Also no cast time
Blizzard — it has a decent range and should be used when bosses are stuned (2x firewhell — then this works best)
Ice Wall — as the name says it stops the bosses to come into a melle range, but some skills can still hit you from them. It will absord some damage skills and it should always be placed down when you revive a player as mage defense is pretty weak. Just dont be a N00B and spam it as it can block your other teammate from dodging attacks or running away from huge aoe.
Witch’s Mind … realy nothing else is that great than base damage stats. Unless you build all your gear into crit.
Blazing Fist (monk)
— unlike the sword user, you take more damage, but you are also much faster. so spam dodge a bit more and you will be fine
— with a double tapping w (2nd w you hold) and then right click you gain some serios speed and it should be used to get in close or run away from aoe
— breaking (stunning) bosses is much faster
— it works great on some bosses with low defense as you can just stunlock them to death, but some bosses are designed as a counter against you
As for skills:
Unique Karma Crystal:
Falling Star — probaly one of best ultimates in game as its very easy to aim and use. And you can also time it. Second one however is not that great as it may not work well on some bosses.
Wild Flurry — basic close combat attack
Reckless Charge — usefull on some bosses, but anything large than dragon and its more or less just a extra damage attack. You can use Instant Chase due to being ranged (but not that much) and it may cause issues on smaller bosses. You can also use Ultimate Heat, but then you will lack a CC. You can fix this issue by using other class on swap.
Great Retaliation — must have, as it reduces damage from bosses if timed right (and it also charges your rage bar a bit faster when you get hit)
Fighter’s Attitude — well basic stat increase is best. You could run Ignite Passionm but chance is pretty low
Ok i choose a class what now?

Once you get used to, its time to gear up.
There are 3 way to gear up (but other 2 need real money)
Starting with free one:
Talk to Ensher Renhart and chose her as a rep grid. Start the missions with other players.
You only need 150 rep with her to obtain all basic pieces.
More advanced gear will need rep from other npcs or boss 1% drops (but forget abaut those):
Crim has a headpiece on 500 rep:
Marian Vendor has a fox ears on 900 (hair side) and rest of the missing items on higher rep:
But by this time you may drop some 1% item to fill those slots.
Less free one, but it wont break you:
Use a steam store to buy cheap items. Use this links to find a item you need:
You kinda can get it for free if you sell out your steam cards in inventory.
Do not buy Sub karma crystals as you can easy grid them from rep and at start of game the max you can realy use is 4.
Stating weapons only have 4 upgrade slots, while lootbox, high rep or dlc come with 6 slots.
Starting weapons seem to be bugged right now as you wont be able to 3 crystal slots trade damage. (and you cant reset them either with steam inventory)
While dlc/6 slot allow you to modifly them in those settings:
2 damage 2 skills 2 crystals
1 damage 2 skills 3 crystals
2 damage 1 skill 3 crystals (no reason to use this at all)
Unlike normal weapons, those dont come with skills slots and are way more expensive to upgrade.
The expensive way:
Buy dlc and obtain specific armor/weapon pieces
Or be a whale and buy lootboxes to obtain items you want.
Please note that easy mode doesnt realy need much or a gear, but once you rank up higher, its gona be noticable. You can get away with it.
Avoid however hard, very hard and Grand Chase till you gear up a bit.
Doing your 1.st dungeon with another player
There are a few rules you need to follow:
*Revive a player (run to him/her) if they die, but be carefull you dont get killed yourself.
1.st revive is fast, 2.nd is a bit slower and then it goes down and down. By this time its better to revive normaly.
*If you are damaged and you revive a player you will get HP back. (to some point)
*Dont stand in fire and if you play a ranged class, dont just stand still and let the boss hit you.
*Watch your resorce. If you run out of yelloy bar, you will enter a state where a boss can realy destroy you (you cant dodge)
*Blue bar is mana and its only used for skills.
*Some bosses will need your party to split. Try to keep npc away from other player.
*Areas on some maps have wall. Hide behind them to avoid some boss charges (they will not protect you from huge explosion aoes)
*If you are a tank class and other player pulled aggro (and your hp is low), run away behind some wall and stand still and regen hitpoints, then let the other player that kites the boss do the same
*DO not, i repeat, DO NOT run with boss into another player that is healing
*Only way you should run to other player with aggro is when they use a fire wall as it causes a lot of damage in line.
*When you stun a boss and send him into a air, chain the attacks. Only exeption to this is when you are critical on hitpoints. Some bosses will do a small aoe after they come out of stun, so its not recomended to be close.
*Dont afk, we will leave the dungeon
*If you die, try to die in a way that other player can get your back on your feet quick (close to them)
You can abuse this to heal other player fast if your non regen hp is on something like 10%.
*If you play a tank your damage doesnt matter in end, only a stun score matters. Same goes for dps, but other way araund.
*Dont leave dungeon till you are finished (exeption to this rule is if another person dies more than 6 times and wastes your time and boss still on 80% hitpoints). But if you leave dungeon just because you died once……..delete this game 😀
Use those to upgrade your weapon 1.st, then go for the rest of the pieces.
You have 3 options:
Add karma slot (only weapons)
Change stats (armor only)
Dye — dont waste on this till you obtain more
Since you are playing duo class, try to chose stats that benefit bouth classes.
On left side is also a option to chose character stats (you can also buy a rebirth ticket and change your character looks and stats)
Min is 3 — max is 6.
Depens on what you prefer to play it also depends on stat your chose.
Check the rebirth section for more details:
STR is good for all classes (exept pure mage)
AGI is best for archers and monks
INT is only good for mages and its main stat that goes to 3 for all classes
WIS is secondary stat for mages, however other classes should not ignore it as it gives you are better survability.
HP is only good for tanks – keeping it at 5 is ok, but going 4 makes you a bit more glass cannon
For more resistance you can put a hp points into Wis or if you want more damage into AGI
Dance of Wind
For more glass cannon build you can move 1 point of hp into wis to get a better regen
Agility makes you move faster, so its not recomended to go to low with it. You can reduce your hp to make yourself a bit faster.
Not realy much a option here. However due to ability to reduce damage, you dont need as much hp as other tank class. You can put a point into hp or wisdom for reduced damage in strenght. (you need mobility on this class)
Blazing Fist + Dance of Wind (balanced stats – it allows you to fight close or far)
Diabolic Witch + Dance of Wind (needs hp to be lower)
Diabolic Witch + Sword Talaimh (secordary spec is there for healing as you switch to not take to much damage if boss changes you)
Dance of Wind + Sword Talaimh (same as mage — extra resistance)
Sword Talaimh + Blazing Fist (combo breaker — only use if another player is ranged)
Tips for bosses
*stands still most of time and a lot of attacks can be avoided
*will do a claw attacks that hit most of area
*2 stage fire breath — middle then close
*he moves from time to time and do some aoe attack
On harder modes its very hard to stun so its better to use ranged attacks. Its also anoying to hit with melle class. You have to jump attack or attack hands (wich are main damage from boss)
Teachings of the Great Wizard:
*It can be stuned and trown into air
*He will use a 3 stage clone attack from time to time — you can trick ai to fire away
*4 laser spinning beams — do not run into middle its not safe
*Aoe and lots of smaller attacks
Double melle team can stunlock him for a while, however the lower boss hp, the more dangerous he is. He will teleport into a middle a lot when doing large attacks, but do not fight him into corners if possible.
Undead mage skeleton
*It has a quite good resistance to melle attacks
*His adds when he splits however do not and you can stunlock them
*He will spawn 2 types of images that cant be hit — 1 is sword attack and other is ranged
*From time to time he will spawn dark magic that follows you.
*You can avoid some of its attack by hidding behind a wall when healing
*Dark shower — its best to stand still when he casts this so you dont go inside by accident once you dodge it
This fight is best to deal with at range. Boss doesnt like to follow you at all. When he calls adds you switch to melle. Most of his attacks will do some serios magic damage to melle attackers.
Some guy with shield
*He does slow attacks so he can be dodged when being in melle range
*From time to time he will fire from him lance
*If you are to far away, he will try to jump on you (ai is quite dumb here)
*On low hp he will spawn some adds — easy to kill
*You need to be carefull on his Aoe attacks as they can 1 Ko you.
Pretty basic boss, but when he gets low the player who has aggo needs to kite boss away, while another player deals with adds. Those adds wont let you heal and they will interupt you.
Belated Resurrection of Golems
*Try not to melle this boss much, it does have high resistance and sometimes it will go in break state to trick you to get close and explode
*Most dangerous attack is a 3 spinning boulder — use the walls araund to hide (if mage use ice wall)
*When he stats to hit the ground, some bolders will fall down
*Did i mention he likes to go boom after he wakes up and there are 2 types.. one small one and large KO one
For this boss its best to split up and camp near walls. And simply spam ranged attacks. To stun him just use ultimates. And do not get close unless you run 2x melle team.
Reappearance of Reorgea
*He does claw attacks in melle range and they are not easy to dodge– rolling behind does a trick
*When he flys up and lands, he will do huge aoe attack (1 ko for sure)
*A fire will spawn under him , making it a hazard for melle attackers
*Only melle him when you use ultimates
*He will breath a mid range fire attack that can be outranged most of the time
Dont get close, attack him from range and kite. Only attack close when he is stuned and there is no fire on ground. Also heal a lot, he is slow moving. Hits like a truck however.
Bad Tempered Lieutenant
Random guy with a sword
*He seems to have infinite range on jump
*Will run to middle when doing a aoe attacks that fires down a few times
*When you stunlock him and he goes back to his feet, he will do aoe cleave attack
*He will do aoe attack in 2 turns — small and then large one — large one can be deadly
*When his hp does low, his sword will start shining and do more damage
He can be tanked, but very hard to stun later on. Best strategy is to tank and spank and when a ranged character gets aggro, your tank heals. He should be kited araund the zone to reduce his aoe attack up close. Ice wall realy trolls him.
Reappearance of the Calamity
*He can be a bit of pain to hit as melle character, as you have to jump to be able to land a good hit (however it should not be done when he is casting orbs)
*Orbs — they will follow you and follow you — one doesnt hit hard, but a lot of them together at same time will
*Slow down area that deals damage — not a good idea to stand in and later he will spawn more than one
*Tentacles — if possible kill those, as they wont let you heal
*Laser beam — deadly, do not get hit and run
This boss works well with 1 melle and 1 range. But unlike other bosses, its better for a ranged character to get aggro, while melle gets its defense down to stun him.
Use ultimate when he falls down as you realy dont have much time to hit him.
And run run run…. top stars are only safe heaven to heal– but beware of the beam (you will get a quick ! on top of your head if he targets you)
*He can only be stuned with 2 melle players and has quite a good resistance
*He will spawn some ki orbs — kite him away from them as they hurt like truck
*It is a very mobile boss — 1 character should kite, while another attack from distance
*Dodge a lot if he get to close, as he will chain you
*He also has a small ranged attack that is instant
*Once his hp gets lower, its speed is faster
Its recomened to not use to long attacks if you have aggro. He will get up closer faster than most of bosses. Ice wall doesnt seem to stop him either. If he gets to close, switch to defensive spec to soak damage. Best class would be hunter for this, as he/she can fire longbow attacks at very far away range from boss. Kitting him into fire also works. Ultimates are not that great and use them only if some player may get hit.
Intrusion of the Dark Elves
*Red elf is a melle attacker — let your ranged player kite it forever (it has quite a high defense)
*Blue elf is ranged — get in close and smash it and you can stunlock it forever
*If they are close, they will fire up some nastly attacks
*Blue elf will mostly just spam ranged attacks
Its recomened to use icewall on red elf. Blue elf can be stunlock trolled, but you gota be carefull on your resorces (mana and stamina). If you let her go, she will go support the red one.
Attack of Black Fang
Elf with a cat
*Elf is a mage and it will spam ranged attacks and also use whip if you are to close
*Cat will attack in close combat, so let your ranged class do the job
*Cat will from time to time spawn some type of black hole aoe — easy to avoid, but be sure those 2 bosses are split up
*Cat will also do a claw attack
Melle on elf, ranged on cat. Keep them away from each other. Save ultimate for cat.
If they get to close, run to side of map and they will follow you.
Chasers Trapped in the Past
Elf that likes wind to much
*He has quite a good resistance to melle attacks and quite a few close combat counters
*When he teleports he will spawn some winds that will follow you — they hurt
*From time to time he will fire a spray attack that slows you down
*His most dangerous skill are spinning blades — run to edge of map to avoid then
Its a tank and spank fight. When your tank gets low on hp, he/she needs to hide behind a pillar and heal. Boss can be stunned, but chaining him is kinda hard.
