Posted on April 9, 2019

Item quality and rankings, including their appropriate colors and some other related general info on crafting, trading, etc.

Item rarity and ranking:

Rankings from worst to best:

Common – white / gray – worst
Uncommon – light blue
Rare – dark blue
Exceptional – dark purple
Master Crafted – light purple
Precious – gold – best

There are also Red, and Green items:

Red:
– Exceptional Quality.
– Default cosmetic items that aren’t showed in your steam inventory.
– Cosmetic items that are bound to your account (you can only buy these from the in-game store in sets).
– Player uniform variations from the Vault Crate that aren’t precious.

Green:

Note:

* Vault crates are not tradable or marketable.

** Precious items are rare. However, if they’re from the dosh vault crates or the dosh vault that gives you a crate, they’re untradeable and unmarketable and actually quite uncommon to find them. If you got it from the drop system it’s a bug (should be tradeable/marketable). If you got it from the USB or crates then it’s very rare and expensive.

*** Cyan blue: crates and USBs.

Weapon skins:

come in 6 tiers of rarity (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Exceptional, Master Crafted, and Precious) and 3 levels of wear from Mint to Battle-Scarred.

General item rarity breakdown:

Cosmetic items and weapons skins come in 6 grades of rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Exceptional, Master Crafted, and Precious.
Weapon skins are further modified by their wear condition: Mint, Field-Tested, and Battle Scarred. Free item drops earned in game will be cosmetic items and weapons skins that are one of the first 5 grades of rarity.
The 6th rarity grade is only available by opening a Horzine Supply Crate or an Encrypted Weapon Skin USB.

Which items are tradeable?

You can trade items you find during gameplay, obtain by opening a Horzine Supply Crate (wearable cosmetic accessories), or get by decrypting a USB stick (weapon skin blueprints).
You can also trade items purchased from the Trading Floor In-Game Store.
The items you obtain through completing the in game tutorial are not tradeable.

General info on trading:

Players can trade most items in the Trading Floor Zed-conomy.
Players can also breakdown most items into crafting material that they can combine to craft new items.
Master-Crafted items can be crafted but not recycled.

General info on Horzine supply crates:

Horzine supply crates contain 1 skin variant of a wearable cosmetic, chosen at random from a set of possible items for each type of crate.
The crates can be unlocked with a decryption key purchasable from the Trading Floor or on the Steam Market.
Accessories come in different skin variants and 6 tiers of rarity.
There is also a chance the crate will contain a precious golden accessory.

Encrypted rare weapon skin blueprints:

You may also find USB sticks, which contain 1 Rare weapon skin blueprint, from a set of possible skins for each type of stick.
Unlock them with a decryption key purchasable from the Trading Floor or on the Steam Market.
Weapons skins come in 6 tiers of rarity and 3 levels of wear from Mint to Battle-Scarred.
There is also a chance it will be an ultra rare precious golden weapon skin.

General info on crafting:

Common, Uncommon, Rare and Exceptional items can be broken down into crafting materials that match the item’s rarity.
Combining 10 sets of material of the same rarity will create a random new item, one rarity level higher.
Break down 10 Common items and combine them to get a random, new Uncommon item for your collection.
