Gunlocked Symbionic Upgrades Guide

Posted on December 10, 2022

For Gunlocked players, this is  symbionic upgrades guide, which will explain evolving weapons in game, let’s check it out.

Introduction

This guide is complete unless future updates say otherwise. As the game receives new content and when I know of more combinations, I will update it accordingly but this is all 12 I currently know of.

Upgrades

Requirements for obtaining weapon evolutions are as follows:
1. Have a weapon and its corresponding utility in your arsenal.
2. The weapon (but not the utility) needs to be fully upgraded.
3. The timer needs to have passed the 10 minute mark.Once these 3 requirements are met, a special weapon upgrade circle will appear and you’ll need to stay inside it until it reaches 100% to receive the upgrade. You can leave it at any time without resetting the percentage mark, but it does take a significant amount longer to finish.

Final Notes

When going for the achievement to have 3 or 4 upgrades in one run, I’d recommend running as pilot Ram because he starts with the gravity wave already and which only needs three upgrades to reach its max. It would also be best to use the Augments “The Sure Thing” and also “Prize Box” if you can in order to limit the pool of items to what you’ll need.

    Sunstriker + Combuster

    Sunbuster,
    Evolved sunstriker

Collecting combuster beacons now temporarily reduces the sunstriker recharge time by 90%, and increases the damage per burst by 10.

    Upgrade type/s: fire, beam
