For new players of Evasion from cluster 42, here are some strategic suggestions and some help how to get started in the game, and what to buy and equip first.
How to get started
Solution for the first steps(by one of the two game developers)
Play the first level (and destroy asteroids to collect metal) 1-2 times succesfully until you got at least 6 metal, then buy a body.
Shooting frequence and energy grow, don’t forget to equip your first module (more damage) in the mission scene.
You may want to take a look if you already can beat level 2 or 3 then. Or play level 1 again.
Repeat playing level 1 and collect metal until you can buy the first wings, later equip one standard blaster on each wing so you have three weapons.
If you are that good you can also farm metal in level four.
Next thing to equip would be the first booster/engine. Here also the first rusty one makes a good start.
Have a look if you can equip your 2nd module. Those are really helpful.
After you have the full basic equipment of cockpit body and wings and booster with three weapons you could buy the front weapon gatling.
If you farm a level (like the first one) too often, you will receive less loot and dangerous enemies might appear, but only after you exhausted it a lot 😉
Level 4 and later levels maybe hard. Upgrade the hangar next to get success to the better ship parts that are not rusty anymore 🙂
Or instead buy the ultrafast rusty wings first…there are many ways to improve your ship and your station.
Remember you can play form side or top down view, some levels play difficult that way and you may find one or the other way is easier (found in gameplay options during game in mission room).
You can also choose from random appearance or always the same apperance of enemies.
