A comprehensive walkthrough for Sniper Elite V2 Remastered – DLC Mission – The Neudorf Outpost, The Landwehr Canal, and Saint Pierre.
DLC Mission – The Neudorf Outpost
Introduction
Points of interest:
- ‘Silence is Golden’ (Complete Neudorf Outpost without alerting any AI)
- ‘Smoking Kills’ (Kill 6 smoking soldiers on Neudorf Outpost)
Mission: Neudorf Outpost.
Route 2: Having left the tunnel turn left and head through the field before you. Be wary this route is significantly more hostile and provides less cover.
Tip: Watch out particularly for snipers in high in nests as they have better perspective on the battlefield and can deal more damage.
Both will ultimately lead you to the main fuel depot encampment where you will need to access the explosives satchel.
Tip: Shoot at fuel tanks to cause multiple casualties upon vehicular explosion!
Once acquired, you will need to select 3 of the 4 available marked points to place the explosives. You will be besieged by enemy firepower so navigate your way through the depot carefully.
Having deployed the explosives you will be prompted to get back to the rendezvous point (essentially where you began your mission). To do so you will have to trek across incredibly hostile terrain. Take out any enemy soldiers in your way in order to get safely to the rendezvous. In doing so you will have successfully completed the mission and sabotaged the fuel depot!
DLC Mission – The Landwehr Canal
Introduction
Points of interest:
- ‘You were only supposed to…’ (Allow all 3 commanders to enter the command centre in Landwehr Canal, then blow the doors)
- ‘Watchmen’ – (Eliminate all 5 Snipers watching the meeting point on Landwehr Canal without them spotting you)
Mission: The Landwehr Canal.
Tip: Use the initial objective timer to seek out and stealthily kill any soldiers unprepared for your arrival. Consider using your Welrod pistol or sneaking right up behind and killing them manually.
The area you need to reach is the on the eastern side of the map right in front of the town hall building. Find a position in order to observe the meeting from afar and await the arrival of the officers.
Tip: Tag as many of the enemy as possible in order to prevent any instances of sneak attacks!
Upon their arrival shoot the marked officer dead, wherein your next objective will be to get out of the proceeding fire storm! This is again, easier said than done! Try and make your way back through the ruins to the rendezvous point situated by the canal. Having managed to make it unscathed you will have successfully completed your mission.
DLC Mission – Saint Pierre
Introduction
Points of interest:
- ‘Secret Service’ (SAINT PIERRE – Kill all the guards before getting to the church without being detected)
- ‘Shoot the Alps’ (SAINT PIERRE – Get a total shot distance of over 4000 meters)
Mission: Saint Pierre.
Once clear you will be required to head toward the church in the village where you will use a radio situated within to draw Rodebrecht to you.
Tip: Booby trap the bodies of fallen enemies to ensure investigatory colleagues receive a nasty surprise!
Position yourself accordingly, wait for his exit from the vehicle, and take your shot. Consider using the aim assist as missing could mean the General hides within the village making his a lot harder to locate and kill.
Tip: Plant mines in roadways to destroy heavily armed vehicles. Also consider shooting at fuel tanks as this also contributes to a swift destruction of their heavily armoured chasse!
Once dead you will need to retrieve his service book for evidence of his death. Unfortunately for you the General has come with significant military support. This heavy resistance will prove to be particularly troublesome so make sure to use the surrounding buildings as cover.
Upon successful retrieval of the book you will need to get out of dodge, but as is always the case, the enemy continue to lurk nearby. Dispatch as you see fit and head out toward the rendezvous point. This will conclude the mission and ensure another Axis General is out of the picture.
