Here is a guide on how to launch command to skip the intro cutscene and the “This game is hard” warning message that appears on every startup.
Command
Right click Darkest Dungeon in your library and open the properties.
In the general tab, select “Set Launch Options” and paste the command -skipfeflowintro into the text box.

The intro and warning message will now be skipped and the game will move straight to the save selection screen after startup.
