– Stat increase (+1, Max 10):
Increasing stats via the console WILL cause bugs, as events will not fire (especially around the sister storyline) so these instructions have been removed.
– Set Money:
player.inventory.money=99999
Note: between money and = there is a space
– Raise Intelligence:
player.increase_int(10)
– Get a Shovel:
player.get_item("shovel")
Note: this command will cause error “IOError: Couldn’t find file ‘characters/okita/char_okita_goggles_xray3.png.'”, just ignore this message and the game should continue.
How to Enable Console
Warning: Messing around in the console can cause serious bugs, only enable console if you know what you’re doing and are happy to take the risk.
- From the main game directory navigate to the renpy folder, then open the common folder
- Find the 00console.rpy file and open with notepad++
- Search for the line: # If true, the console is enabled despite config.developer being False.
- Edit the line below from: config.console = False to config.console = True
- Save and close the file
- To open the console in game press: SHIFT + O
- To close the console type in “exit” or right click
Tips for Cheat Mode (God Mode)
Warning: As we have seen recently, god mode cheat mode can cause problems, e.g. if you use your might to unlock all locations.
If you don’t want to grind, you can choose the cheat mode with max stats and a ton of money to start the game. you can select the cheat mode when you’re starting.
What You Can Get in Cheat Mode:
- Cheat mode gets you max stats and 1 mil $, And you can skip some mini-games during routes.
- You can even start the game with 5-6 stats, some $ and already mid-way through everything just to check the new scenes.
What You Can NOT Get in Cheat Mode:
- The cheat mode just gives you the option to skip the minigames for the stats. You still have to go to the places to raise your stats in cheat mode. Instead of doing the mini-game there’s an option to cheat.
- If you play in cheat mode and start the rap game for the first time the game will ask you whether you want to reset that stat or not. You probably did skip the text and agreed? In short, don’t play the rap game if you play in cheat mode.
