Pineview Drive - Homeless: Batteries and Matches Locations

Here is a guide on how to find all Batteries and Matches Locations in Pineview Drive – Homeless game.

As it can be a pain in the *** to find all batteries and matches, I hope I can help you finding them all so you get the achievements “Batteries” and “Matches”. Luckily they don’t have random locations.
NOTE: THIS GUIDE IS NOT COMPLETE YET, AS I HAVEN’T FOUND ALL MATCHES YET. HELP FOR THEM IS MUCH APPRECIATED, SO I CAN COMPLETE THIS GUIDE.

So I will try to show you the locations in a chronological order, but you can go through some areas in the order you want, I will use the walkthrough guide.

for the game as a reference, as I also used it for my run(s). I will go through the game in this order.
So basically you can see my guide as an addition to the other guide.
I recommend to use them both if you want all achievements, my guide without the other one is probably not very clear.
Of course you can also just open everything up and then search for the items or – if you already beat the game – load up sa safe for 07:00 and look for the stuff.

I want to note that the achievements in this game does not pop up during the game, but as you close it.

So for every battery/match I will show a screenshot and a short description where it is and tell on which floor it is. If I don’t explicitly tell which floor, it is always first floor (1F).
“B” stands for battery and “M” for matches. And if I write “same” this means this item is in the same room as the previous one.

Some general stuff about batteries and matches

-You can hold up to ten matches at once and six batteries at once: one in your flashlight, 5 in reserve.
-If you find one package of matches, you get five matches, though you get only one battery if you find batteries (yes, in the game it looks like you find more than one but you only get one).
-For the gameplay matches are pretty much usesless, with them you can only light candles and such, but they extinguish really fast; you only need one match at one point to progress, but of course for the achievmenet you have to get them all.
-The batteries though are really important cause the game is very dark, I also recommend you to push the brightness value at the maximum at the start of the game, even then it’s very dark.
-Your battery in your flashlight have four bars, if those are empty you have to reload (with “R” on your keyboard), though if you have two or less bars left the light is very weak and you basically have to reload. You can only reload your battery, if at least one bar is empty.
-IMPORTANT: I recommend you to collect the batteries/matches instantly as you find them, this means if you can’t hold more batteries/matches, use one so you get room for more.
This will mean you have to waste a lot of batteries and matches, but don’t worry: like I said matches are almost useless and you should have more than enough batteries, if you use both guides and don’t waste time.
-There are 30 batteries and at least 24 matches in the game.

Now go back to the other side of the house and enter it
-B4: immediately to the left of the entrance door

-M1: after having slept, go downstairs (1F), 2. door to the left

-M7: 2F art room (at this time you get infinitly many matches here, because you need one match in the 2F kitchen to progress; don’t know if this match counts)
