Phasmophobia: Easy Apocalypse Challenge Gold

In this guide you’ll find the most easy way to tackle the Apocalypse Challenges (Bronze Silver and Gold) without being a super Pro at identifying every ghost by its footsteps or being able to loop it out to stay alive.

this challenge still has a lot of RNG but once you get the gist of it, you’ll be able to tackle this challenge.

Before trying out this method, I Strongly recommend having all Tier 3 items. night vision googles is pretty much a must to be able to navigate in the dark. (also keep in mid there are no meds and flashlights).

so the main items I recommend for this Run are the Following:

• [1] Tier 3 igniter
• [4] Tier 3 Incense
• [1] Tier 3 Motion sensor
• [1] Tier 3 Parabolic Microphone
• [1] Tier 3 Photo Camera

If you are good at taking photos, you can use Tier 1 or Tier 2 Incense, since they tend to make the ghost wander a little bit more.

Note: you can bring one of everything, but I Recommend at lest 2 Incense to be able to past the ghost.

This is the first step to complete. we need to get objectives that are possible in the run, so I’ll divide into Tiers.

• Capture a Photo of the Ghost
• Have a Member of your team escape the ghost during the hunt
• Cleanse the area near the ghost using incense
• Repel the ghost with incense while its chasing someone

these are almost given, and the photo is a requirement for the apocalypse challenge so you need to get close to the ghost, so incense challenges are perfect for the run.

• Detect a paranormal sound with a Parabolic Microphone
• Find Evidence of the paranormal with and EMF Reader
• Detect a ghost presence with a motion sensor
• Get a ghost to blow out a firelight

the firelight can be blown out in the Chapel, so it can sometimes blow out one or two candles during the hunt.

• Have a member of your team witness a ghost event
• prevent the ghost from hunting with a crucifix

If you get any challenge inside this Tier, try again, is almost impossible.

So, the ghost we are looking for is a Deogen, basically its the only ghost we can outrun at this speed, so this is the most fool-proof way to complete the challenge.

how to identify a Deogen:

• The Deogen always feel your presence, So it will always show up with you
• its super fast when is far, then super slow when near (using the parabolic Microphone to know when its coming can help confirm)

Strategy

Once we confirm we have 3 possible challenges, we start moving out our gear. so Before Entering the building, get your headgear on, and throw objects through the door.

I recommend to at least Throw:

• [1] Photo Camera
• [2] Incense
• [1] Lighter
• [1] Parabolic
• [1] Crucifix
• EMF and/or Motion Sensor if you have the challenge

Once you get in, Immediately put your crucifix inside the Lobby, this will protect you from Wraiths and Banshees. also Set up the Motion sensor near the Desk so you know if the ghost is coming to you.

the 3 Items I recommend to have with you before the hunt are:

• Incense
• Parabolic
• Photo Camera

Once the door closes, start using your parabolic microphone to check out the ghost, you can see it wander or hear its speed, if you think you can identify and time out their hunts go ahead and try to get the photo, but if you want to play is safe, wait until the hunt is over, if it wasn’t a Deogen, just try again.

If you get lucky and get a Deogen and possible challenges, then what you need to do is to drop the parabolic and pick up one of the incense on the floor and lure him into the entrance, after the ghost is near you, use an incense and make your way into the chapel. while you are walking, I recommend to try to get the photo of the ghost (Any star counts). once in the chapel try to loop it in the front area until it stops hunting.

After the hunts stops and you get outside, check out for any missing challenge, if you completed all 3 and got the photo, you’re good to go.

I tried this method for several runs until I got my possible scenario.
