For Patch Quest players, if you are trying to play with your friend in Co-op but you don’t know how to config it, this guide will explain how to start up co-op and what you can do with it.
Setting up Co-op
You can only play Patch Quest locally with 1 friend. You also need at least one controller to play together, since you’d otherwise need two keyboards. After you get this set up, it should be fairly easy to get going, once you open the game, you get the option to log in for two players, if you do this correctly, you should be able to connect both your keyboard and controller (or 2 controllers) and log into any save file with 2 people.
Co-op mechanics
In Patch Quest co-op, you share all your progress, so:
- All of your records are shared (Patch Pins, mounts and treasures);
- All of your perks;
- You both have the same home base;
- Pets;
- Charms;
- Power-ups;
- Pin Press charge.
When you go on an adventure, you’re able to both have a different mount, ailments, ammo ,health pool and stamina meter for your mount if you’re riding one. When someone reaches 0 health, you can revive them by giving half of your health to them.
