For Marvel’s Midnight Suns players, this guide is about a balanced Collar Hunter and anti-card play build, which allows you to minimizes card play and even nullify it.
Setup
Card (Mod)
- Quick Slash (On KO, gain 1 Strengthened)
- Quick Slash (On KO, gain 1 Strengthened / Any)
- Slash (Quick)
- Slash (Quick)
- Wrath (Draw the last attack played)
- All Out (Quick)
- All Out (Quick)
- Bladestorm (Any)
Passive
Master of the Hunt
Collar
Balanced Collar
Strategy
- Kill a minion with Quick Slash, gain 1 Strengthened
- Use Wrath once drawn, makes all Hunter cards critical. Also +1 collar build-up.
- Play 2 power cards to draw Balanced Collar card, which allows you to draw 2 Hunter cards for free, use it.
- Repeat
Note: All Out is a dark card, so it won’t contribute to your collar build-up, but this is your heavy killer card and “discard all Hunter cards, draw 2 Hunter cards” does more good than harm in almost every case, especially with this build.
Recommended Team
Story to Heroic
Anyone. Hunter can get the job done alone.
Ultimate
- Dr. Strangelove – Astral Meditation will let you use Major Strength Tonic for free. Blessing of the Vishantis and Crimson Band of Cyttorak also not bad.
- Captain America – will draw cards for you if your initial hand is bad. (Applies to any team basically)
Showcase
Not the best/inch-perfect runs but you’ll get the idea how the build works. Just skip the “thinking” parts.
