Kenshi: How to Turn in Bounties (How to Make Money)

This is by far the most effective way of making money, and a good way to boost your stats.

How it works

Dust Bandit Leaders and Sand Ninja Jounin can be found wandering the map, they both have bounties on their heads. Bandits can be worth anywhere from 2k to 3k, while the ninja will always be worth 5k. Using the tactics you learned in the pervious methods, you can easily make a ton of money. Find someone with a bounty, and aggro them. If you’re strong enough, you can fight them and hopefully win (always quicksave). If you’re not, simply lure that enemy towards a group of friendly soldiers. They’ll usually have a hard time taking the bounty target down but they’ll always win. Once the bounty is dead, HEAL THEM! If they die, they’re only worth half the amount they would have been alive. Dead or alive? Choose alive. Once they’re healed, pick them up by holding right click on them and selecting it. The bounty will be on your back now, and you can make your way towards a town that has a police station. Police stations are where you take your bounty to. They’re cylindrical buildings with a sign saying “Police” on it (although this can sometimes be bugged, read below). Take the bounty inside and there should be a police officer there. Right click and talk to him, and he’ll take the bounty off your hands and give you the money. That’s it, done. You’ve made a healthy profit, your strength has probably gone up and now you can afford that nice sword you’ve had your eye on.

Pros

• Little risk involved
• Levels up field medic, strength and athletics

Cons

• With a low STR it can take a while to get the bounty to a police station.

Known issues/bugs

Police stations can often be incorrectly labled as “Trade”. If you can’t find a police station, but there is a trade building, try going inside and seeing if it’s bugged.
