The courtroom’s lit, the gavel’s up, and the whole trial depends on you nailing the right crime to the right suspect. Chapter 5’s Blue & Yellow boss fight is a straight-up Ace Attorney homage—multi-case trial, wrong accusation costs you HP and progress. Here’s the exact defendant and evidence pair for each of the four cases. Zero guesswork, clean run. Missed evidence before the trial? ACT on the boss mid-fight to grab it. But the answers below are your no-mistake route through the whole sequence.
Overview
Turn-based trial. You’re the prosecutor, boss is the judge. Four cases, fixed order: Case 1 through Case 4. Pick the right character to accuse, then present the matching evidence. Wrong choice? Counterattack, damage. All evidence is obtainable in the preceding area. If you’re missing an item, use ACT on the boss before your accusation turn—it’ll trigger dialogue that hands you the missing piece.

Case 1
First case, straightforward. Crime’s simple, evidence is a direct link.
- Accuse: Seth
- Evidence: Purple Book
Pick Seth from the character list, present the Purple Book. No penalty, move on.
Case 2
Slightly less obvious connection between suspect and clue. Don’t overthink the color match.
- Accuse: Green
- Evidence: Yellow shred
Choose Green as your defendant, submit the Yellow shred. Clean resolution.
Case 3
By now, the pattern’s clear: suspect linked to a colored piece of evidence. Stick to the direct match.
- Accuse: Aqua
- Evidence: Red Splatter
Accuse Aqua, present the Red Splatter. Judge accepts it, case closed.
Case 4
Final case, make-or-break. Wrong answer ends the trial early, forces a longer fight. Make sure you’ve got the Blue String in your inventory before accusing.
- Accuse: Blue
- Evidence: Blue String
Select Blue as defendant, present the Blue String. That completes the trial phase with zero errors—full HP, no wasted turns, straight to the next segment. Missing the Blue String? Use ACT on the boss before your accusation turn to get it.
