General Tips

-While under Speed Boost, Bananas won’t stun you, so you can just run through them
-Boss Time Monsters no longer target or hurt the Player Monster
-You can run through the Player Monster and Boss Time Monster
-Listen for the Monsters footsteps, as it will give away their location.
-Since Mortal damage got buffed as a whole, damaging the Monster is worthwhile (unless you’re PenPen or Bierce)
-Best way confuse the Monster during a chase is to do a 180 and run through the Monster (bonus points if you drop a Banana while doing this)
-There is nothing you can do if the Monster gets a Primal or Triple Primal Fear
-While you can kill the Monster, doing so should be a last resort unless you’re playing Vince
-Keep in mind that you won’t win every game, as RNG can and will screw you over if it feels like it (multiple Boss Times and Trap Times in one game, Monsters getting multiple Primal Fears, getting worthless power ups when you need something else)

Against Power Monsters

-Power Monsters no longer one shot Mortals with a heavy attack (though it will still deal massive damage)
-Power Monsters like to hide around corners to ambush you
-Power Monsters are the slowest, they cannot outrun Speed, Support, or Balanced mortals, but can catch up to Power Mortals
-They have the most HP of all the Monsters, so taking them on will be harder
-They also deal the most damage out of the Monsters (80 damage a heavy attack)
-Fighting one is not advised unless you’re Vince
-Power Monsters will catch up to you if they have a Speed Boost

Against Balanced Monsters

-They cannot catch up to a Speed or Support Mortal, but can catch up to Balanced Mortals and can easily outrun Power Mortals
-They have average HP and Damage, so they won’t go down without a fight

Against Speed Monsters

-You are not outrunning a Speed Monster as a Balanced or Power Mortal without a Speed Boost, and they are capable of catching up to a Support Mortal
-Speed Monsters deal the lowest damage out of all the Monsters, so it is easy to make a break for the portal if they are guarding it, though to compensate for their low damage, they attack the fastest out of all the monsters
-Power Mortals can easily kill Speed Monsters
-Ganging up on a Speed Monster is a quick way to kill kill or discourage them
-Speed Monsters have the lowest HP of all the Monsters, meaning it is easy to kill them if you are skilled, though they can still easily shred you if they know what they are doing
-Speed Monsters have the same speed as PenPen

Balanced Mortals Info

-You lose 25 shards if you die
-Power Monsters will not catch up to you, but a Balanced Monster can and Speed definitely can
-You have average HP (180) and Damage (15/30), meaning you can take some hits and can deal surprising amounts of damage

Speed Mortals Info

-You lose 50 shards when you die
-Fighting the Monster is not ideal as you dying sets your team back, always run away unless the monster is basically dead
-Your main job is to collect shards
-An Agatha ultimate will choose you if everyone is at full HP
-Power Monsters and Balanced Monsters will not be able to catch up to you unless you are slowed or they have a Speed Boost
-You have the same speed as a Speed Monster
-You have the lowest HP (140) of all the Mortals and deal the lowest Damage (8/16) too
-You have the fastest Attack Speed

Power Mortals Info

-You lose 15 shards when you die
-You are capable of killing monsters with ease if you are skilled enough
-Ducky can easily counter you, since they have a ranged attack and they can easily step out of your range
-You are the slowest Mortal, slow enough that Power Monsters can catch up to you
-You also have the slowest attack speed
-You have the highest HP (240) and Damage (25/50) out of all the Mortals

Support Mortal Info

-You lose 35 shards if you die
-You are faster than a Balanced Mortal but slower than a Speed Mortal, but it is fast enough to where Balanced and Power Monsters won’t be able to catch up to you, but Speed definitely can
-Do not get into a fight with a Monster intentionally, as your shard loss can set your team back
-You have the second highest HP (200) of the Mortals but deal the second lowest Damage (10/20)

PenPen Tips

-You can still get stunned by Bananas if you are using your ultimate, thus wasting it
-Use your ultimate if you are backed in a corner
-Your ultimate is designed to run away from the Monster, don’t stick around to try to fight it

Vince Tips

-Mortal damage got buffed recently, and Vince deals the most damage out of all the Mortals (50 damage on heavy attack)
-Ultimate is a good way to deter Monsters from attacking you
-You can still die when you have your ultimate up
-Letting the Clown Clones hit you while you have your ultimate up will hurt the main Clown
-Ducky can easily shred you

Bierce Tips

-Heavy attacking a teammate heals them for 5 HP
-Try not to keep your ultimate for yourself
-Getting into fights with the Monster is not worth it due to your shard loss
-You can not heal other Bierce with her ultimate

Doug Tips

-Your ultimate is best used to get out of sticky situations, such as escaping the Player or Boss Time Monster when they start closing in
-Where your ultimate will take you is completely random, meaning you can get teleported to the other end of the map or teleport to behind the Monster
-Using your ult once the portal is out counts as an escape if you’re near the portal

Evan Tips

-You can use your flashlight to stun a Monster on a trap
-You can use your flashlight to save a teammate from a Monster
-Evan’s stun got nerfed from 10 seconds to 7 seconds, which means you won’t be able to kill a full HP Balanced Monster anymore by yourself without any help (it can still kill Agatha)

Nikson Tips

-Your ultimate is best used at the start of a new wave, though if you are about to die, just use your ultimate
-Keep a good power up on him at all times, as his ultimate is the only one in the game that can’t help him stay alive

Prisoner Tips

-Prisoner’s ultimate slows the monster down
-Prisoner’s ultimate is a good way to shred monsters as they won’t be able to outrun you
