This guide is based around Notfound basewars rules so…
1. One-ways are allowed
2. Stacking props next to each other is allowed so long as they are not directly inside of each other
3. Less restrictive prop blacklist
Entities
Prints money for you. Hydrogen is the first printer that is raidable
The money vault stores money from printers making capacity upgrades nearly useless.
Type /upg to upgrade a printer.

Alternate money making methods
Bitcoin miners are very profitable since they are cheap. However, it requires a lot of babysitting with the first two since you need to refill the generator constantly but the servers can be babysit-free with solar panels. Type help in the console of a bitcoin miner to learn how to use it.
Meth is decent for money but isn’t all that good. Past level 2000 it gives you a lot of xp.
Mining is good after prestieging. You can keep metal bars after prestieging giving you a good head-start with millions.
Raiding is a big part of the gamemode. It is a good source of money if you raid the right people and is also fun to do.
Finding a location
1. One entrance to the base. Most buildings have breakable glass so you have to keep this in mind.
2. A Defendable location inside the base.
3. Enough space to put your printers, spawnpoint and dispensers inside.
These are the most important factors into choosing a location. Depending on the type of base your making (hidden/strong) you will need to consider different factors.
If you are going for a strong base, you should look for at least one of these:
1. A long, narrow hallway
2. An area you can shoot from but cannot go through
3. A chokepoint
If you are looking for a hidden base, find a location that is not well known and is still relatively easy to defend.
Props
Fences are very commonly used for one-way shootables. However, the problem with fences is that they have low health but cannot be shot. This means that in order for a fence to be destroyed a raider must go up to the fence and blowtorch it or use a big bomb. Because of this, fences are better as a complement to a door or used in a hallway. Fences become strong with heavy armor (1500 hp) because a raider would need to blowtorch it for a couple seconds.
Example: models/props_wasteland/interior_fence002d.mdl
Solid props are not very useful due to new door techniques, but are very simple. All you have to do is slap a bunch of them on a door and it will work. The problem with these is that you cannot reliably shoot a raider destroying the door unless if you fade the door or shoot from above or below the door. Because of this, these are unfavorable
Example: models/props_phx/construct/metal_plate2x4.mdl
The main advantage of a small solid prop to a large one is that you can shoot around them. This means you can have a strong door and be able to shoot a raider around or through it. Combined with a one-way, you can have a really good door. These props are dependent on the size of your door. You have to make sure raiders aren’t able to crouch, jump or go around this prop.
Example: models/props_c17/furnitureStove001a.mdl
Example: models/props/CS_militia/table_shed.mdl
These props work best while heavy armored. They work similiar to a fence as they block movement but you can still shoot through them. However, to be effective you will need multiple props.
Example: models/hunter/plates/plate.mdl
You can use a blowtorch to check prop health. Typically, the heavier a prop is the more hp it has. Max hp is 1080
