This guide is for those that did not know you could reclaim your video camera if you happen to fall victim to the many inhabitants or machinery down in the dark sea while making content!
Dying during a content run (So sad)
If you happen to meet a tragic fate either it being by your own choice or by a friend below and lose the camera with all your footage it is not the end for you.
{This demise was met from a spider. Hard to tell but it webbed me and was basically T-bagging me you can see its leg in the middle right of the screen.}
Return to the Deep
Finding Lost Footage
Tip Ideas:
- Always have someone at the ready if you are with a group to pick up the camera to avoid leaving it in the first place.
- If you know you are going to perish before making it to the diving bell do your best to make your way as close back and before dying even throw the camera toward the area you need to go or a area you will remember when you come back the next day.
- Death is inevitable while exploring the sea, but only you can do your part in securing your footage for SpookTube.
- Do not forget either camera. Sounds Dumb but leave a flashlight or other gear instead. Gear is expendable the views must not be.
After exploring you’ll notice a black object on the ground and sometimes it may even be blinking/constant light of blue on to symbolize it has power still.
That would be your old camera pick that bad boy up and lets return to the surface if you got enough spook footage.
Transfer video to disc format
(Warning: Recommendation to not throw in both at same time, may cause bugs & error in video processing.)
Now, you should get two discs like so and you can watch both of them one at a time in the house.
Get that bread and spook views up
Enjoy your content you perished getting.
Don’t forget to report your local strange occurrences you may see or any of the locals.
They seem to be friendly. DO NOT APPROACH…
