The Guide
I want to mention a crucial thing: think about yourself as a part of the team not what is best for YOU. Every weapon and every ability need to reflect this
4 player = 8 weapon + 4 ability
12 source for the following:
Need 2 – 3 weapon for mass clearing horde/mixed horde clear.
1 weapon at least to take out specials (plasma gun good can eliminate crushers also at ease).
2 weapon/ability for area denial by range to prevent the two core team member to overwhelmed (Gunlugger, Zealot Purifier).
2 weapon/ability to control the thickes parts of the combat and/or ensure to safely press the attack or reposition.
First priority Target: Rodin Karnak ( the Ranged with the heavy plasma gun)
Rodin is the disturbing one because as long as he lives your whole team are in constant area denial, his plasma gun attack is stunning also so can early end for zealot Chorus and its firerate make him to disable a lot of of tries when you want to get up your teammate.
Team Composition:
Gun Lugger Ogryn ( It was me): Achlys Heavy stubber with both power blessing. Bring frag bomb ( get out of the jail) and some of the middle bottom tree and middle keystone for survivability while shooting. MK 3 bull butcher for horde clear.
Role: Damaging down shields and immediately unleash fire to Rodin ( 3 round in the fight and he finished with also my team’s additional damage. After his death just say metal storm ♥♥♥ off bitc* to Rinda. Also the mobile covering fire platform for the whole team. Before enter the arena pick up the ammo crate.
Skull Crusher Ogryn: Idomitable bleed resist build, Frag bomb ( get out of the jail card).
Bully club mark 3b for horde control and stagger eliminate armored targets. Ripper gun mark 4 ( fire frenzy, blaze away) for killing Horde/mixed horde.
Role: Horde/mixed horde clear while repositioning or retreating to save place in gas clou0d phase of the fight, also the Idomitable is for make way to it/saving teammate/reviving/peeling off maulers and berserkers from Gunlugger/Zealot Purifier, bonking armored targets with club.
Veteran Squad Leader: Plasma gun and shovel. Shout. Frag grenades with increased radius. Tagging middle keystone.
Role: Sniping out the specials and killing armored targets. Increasin the optimal damage to the bosses with the damage increase tagging and reducin overall time to kill Rodin. Stunning and denial of slipping specials and group of maulers/berseker whom closing in on teammates. Shout: makes you resist more damage if you are somehow cannot make fast enough to safe place in gas cloud phase, buying time by knockbacking the twins, important when most of the arena is clear and shields are downed when the team press on hard the offense. With the shovel can run fast and slide to popping the gasmines to not
deny/overwhelm later the team.
Zealot Purifier:Mark 4 chainsword (shred and bloodletter), Flamer (blaze away, quickflame) Immolation grenade.. Chorus with the 20% increased damage talent, Blazing Piety with crit talents. Beacon of purity because the worst thing in the whole fight is the tremendous potential corruption damage.
Role: While boss shieldsare up deal damage to Rodin ( see and read down a bit), cleansing/peventing corruption and damage with Beacon of purity and Chorus. Also Staggerring clunked up higher danger level armored targets and both boss, making way to the safe area in gas cloud phase, ensuring to repositioning after boss shields down and enforce quicker elimination of Rodin with the Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude. Mixed horde clear and stagger/area denial in crucial times with the combination of Immolation grenade and Flamer. With the chainsword can run fast and slide to popping the gasmines to not
deny/overwhelm later the team. Chain weapons also have ridicoulously good damage against the twins. Before enter the arena pick up the medkit.
Sidenotes:
Rinda’s shield take 3x ranged damage
Rodin’s shield takes 3x melee damage
Gasmines needed to triggered in the whole fight to later the have the freedom to move without the risk of huge chunks of corruption damage.
On the curios no and i mean NO wound needed. Everybody have its own taste just to say stack Health and toughness. At least one Curio have the highest toughness as possible. Also all 3 curio need 15% corruption resist. The best Stimm to bring is the Healing to combat high potential corruption damage and save teammates also by inevitable death by corruption.
