For IXION players, this is a guide to help planning ahead instead of spending a million hours reshuffling sectors around because you didn’t know how big are those fancy new buildings you will unlock.
SECTOR 1
The intake is where all the special resources will be funneled through and where all those cryopods will be stored.
Fleet: 2x Science Ship, 4x Miners, 6 xCargo on everything BUT NOT FE.
Note: Use one of the bay as a prob luncher untill you unlock sector 4.
Always use a ship on that sector to bring resources to colony building.
SECTOR 2 & 6
The Steel mill and EVA sectors, bit over kill but why not. ** Both sectors have the same layers **
Fleet: 2 miners and 4 cargo on FE only for each sector
Note: You can run with only sector 2 until chapter 3 because 2 EVA is all you need for a long time but if you are doing like me and building all the sectors before moving to chapter 3 having all those steel mill speed up the whole thing.
SECTOR 3 & 5
The farming sectors you will ofc not have acces to algues at the start.
Note: you can have both sectors with insect farms until the very end if you have the mess hall tech and the DLS tech that reduce food intake.
SECTOR 4
once you are done with solar panels.I would probably put a med center instead of a Hydrogen stockpile.
