Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider All Chips Locations Guide

This is the easiest to obtain.
Simply lose all your lives in any stage, you’ll get this the first time
before the continue screen.

After defeating first boss and reaching 2nd part of the stage, go right – up & right till you see the two moving platforms and the electricity traps with terminator turrets below. You can either use the platforms to reach this area or soak some damage from below and go here.

This wall is breakable but ONLY from Moonspear special attack.

Break it and you first chip is in the next area.

MP REGEN
Smal MP regain over time

Is the first section of the stage, when you reach this area

you want to destroy the red crates in a similar formation

so you can jump to the platform above and get your module

Glass Cannon Module
Die in one hit

After defeating Miyamoto Musashi’s reincarnation, you’ll get to the 2nd section of the stage.
Here you wanna go right till you reach the area with the multiple moving platforms.

This one is a bit catchy, ya gotta jump from the first platform moving vertical to the one further up and right. Deflect the bullet from the turret and use the small space to wall jump till the 2nd horizontal platform is below you.

Take it and move 3 more platforms right following same principle (deflect turret’s bullet, wall jump in square space till next platform is below you)
Eventually you’ll reach this area and claim the 2nd module of this stage.

HP regen
Regain Hp over time

Near the beginning of the stage, after you jump over the fist 7 flying ship and reach this area, as soon as you get passed the hanging section with the 3 ignition vertical attacks, jump on this ship

but instead of going up jump straight down to get the first chip of the stage

Reborn Chip
Revive once per stage

On the 2nd section of the stage, after you get passed the elevator & defeat the thicc mini boss
head right till you reach the area with the two shredder enemies

Behind the one who’s in the lower ground there is a secret area with our 2nd module of the stage

Soul Eater
Killing Enemies restore small amount of MP

This is near the end of the stage. After you defeat the Sentinel mini boss for the 2nd time you climb up the hazard section, go a bit to the right till you reach this area

Wall jump to reach the high ground and break the boulder, it’ll break the ground in the lower ground and give you access to the area with the module of this stage

Bloodlust
Killing Enemies restores hp

Play the stage normally & drop down till you see the vanishing rock platforms.
From there start climbing em till you see a terminator head turret
then take the platforms on the left and you’ll eventually reach the chip :
 Acrobat Module – Gain double Jump

After you defeat the submarine boss go right, hit red switch, go left , hit yellow switch
and fall down. On your left is the last chip of the stage but it’s locked behind a blue door.
We need to hit a special switch to open this. Go right, fall down, hit red switch, go left, fall down, hit yellow switch, go left fall down and when you reach the blood water section start going right while staying to the ground. When you reach this area go down left

and take it till you find that switch.

Return back, go to the lower right area, hit the red switch, go back a bit , above and right & when you reach this area
Go up here & hit the yellow switch, go left till you see the red switch (don’t hit) and the wall jumping section above.
Go up and left and grab the final chip of the stage.

Akujiki Module – Your attack power grows the more enemies you defeat

After you defeat the second mechanical worm boss, fall down the pit & go left.
When you reach this area with the sea mine
approach it without jumping (to avoid activating it) and hit it’s chain to blow the wall above and reach our 1st module.

Chameleon Chip – Change Moonrider’s colors

After obtaining the 1st chip, go right, get past the first water levels section and get the small red platform after rising water & reach this spot

If you have the double Jump module, wall climb the first opening on your right, double jump to the area on your right & hit the first switch to rise water. Return to the sea mine (which is now flowing)
 release it from it’s chain and enter the newly opened area above it for final module of the stage.

If you don’t have the double jump equiped, simply go right from the mine, hit the switch to lower the water, fall down and take the 1st opening up by wall jumping till you reach the same platform mentioned above for the needed switch.

Long Sword Chip – Increases the attack range

You will find this naturally after the 2nd part of the stage. Just keep going right ulti this section, wall jump and you ll reach this platform with the final module.

Detective Chip
Reveals secret areas.
