The Plateau
Here’s a World Map that I’ve spent entirely too long creating, hope it helps somebody out there. I did not include coin locations because that would have gotten crowded real fast, but with the numerical count and the new metal detecting feature of the compass, hopefully that’s not an issue.
How to track down missed collectibles using the compass
Since update 1.0.3, the compass now enables you to hone in on collectables that you missed. The compass is displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen while sand-surfing, and you can also summon it to be visible at all times by pressing D-Pad down.
By default, it simply points north. However, once you pass certain thresholds, it will alert you to collectables that you missed:
- Once you’ve collected at least 17 fish, the dead fish skeleton in the compass will begin pulsing faster and faster when nearing a fish
- Once you’ve collected at least 480 coins, the large orb in the compass will begin pulsing faster and faster when nearing a coin.
