For Tales of Berseria players who want to play coop with friends, this guide will show you how to up to 4 players can play in co-op during the game’s battle scenes. Exploration and story mode are not cooperative (one player controls the avatar). You can either play it with your friends at home or online through Steam Remote Play Together using my method.
What you need to prepare:
– A controller ( you or your friend must own one or else it won’t work )
How to set it up:
Please take notice that the game only detect ( keyboard + controller ) as player 1. So we need to emulate a second controller using Xbox 360 Controller Emulator.
1. The process is very simple , all you need to do is to choose any controller tab and tick Enable 0 Mapped Devices. The result should look like this?
2. Now connect the controller with the PC
3. Launch the game
4. Go to Controller Settings to make sure Player 2 is using the right controller
5. Open characters menu
6. Notice that the player 2 has appear on the character next to leader.
8. Resume the game and test it out in battle.
Conclusion
– You don’t need to emulate more controller for player 3 and 4. The game can detect them just fine
– The game does not support split screen, so the camera share angle can be very displease to the eyes… it is advise to stay close to your partner during battle
