Starfield How to Launch SFSE via Steam

For Starfield playersm this is a fast guide for how to launch StarField Script Extender (SFSE) via Steam.

 

Setup walk through

  1. Go to the game folder (Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\) and rename “Starfield.exe” to, for example, “StarfieldOG.exe”
  2. Rename “sfse_loader.exe” to “Starfield.exe”
  3. Go to “Data” folder and if you don’t have the SFSE folder, create one. (The file path should look like: Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\Data\SFSE)
  4. Right click and edit the SFSE.ini (if there is no “SFSE.ini” inside the SFSE folder, create one)
  5. Paste the following into SFSE.ini:[Loader]
    RuntimeName=StarfieldOG.exe
  6. Save the SFSE.ini
  7. Steam will now launch Starfield via SFSE
