How to stop progression and heal after battle, menu settings you want to adjust at start, etc.
I want to Stop after a Fight to Save/Heal.
The game is setup so that the protagonist Saki will continue to explore non-stop after each fight, even if you select manual. However, that’s not very helpful at the start of the game, where you want to heal/save in between fights.
When the battle ends and show you how much XP and gold you got:
- On the PC: keep pressing X instead of Z to close the notification.
- On Deck/controller: Press the B button
This will stop the progression, so you can manually choose heal from the pop-up.
Note that there is no penalty for manually healing in between fights.
Healing will fully restore your HP & WP (+ remove regular status on lower difficulties), this allow Saki to have continuous H interaction until she only has 1 Will Power (WP) left. 0 WP = defeat.
Defeat only translates to some area progression penalty… which gives you more chances to level up.
Default Settings You Might Want to Change to Enable more H
Once you have control of Saki, go to Menu > Items and you will see a whole bunch of settings.
Feel free to explore the various options, but only 2 of them you want to change.
1) Battle Auto-end Settings
By default, once the enemy bind Saki and H a few times, it would end.
By turning this setting off, the enemy can keeping ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ until you break free/run out of Will Power (WP).
Why would I want to do that?
Early on, you want to have a chance to kill off the enemy instead of letting them run away after H.
Later on, you can get an item called Semen-sucking Chalice…
2) Skip-Defeat Scenes
It’s not that easy to lose on easier difficulties, so you might also want to change this one.
Summon Item
Notable Items:
- Lust Suppression Drop (1-VI): most important item if you are going H route, as it prevents H attack from building up too quickly and burn thru your WP
- Semon-sucking Chalice: Creampie = Free XP
- Fire Soul Gem: Gives you more WP, so you can use H attack time to heal up/skill cooldown.
- Dual Ripping Plates (or lesser variants): nice stat boost item for boss fight.
