Twenty hours. That’s the real-time investment a full Classic Mode playthrough of Resident Evil Requiem demands—if you’re efficient. If you’re not, add another five to ten for backtracking, missed pickups, and that one boss you refuse to learn properly. This save archive eliminates all of it. Whether you want to replay a specific chapter, hunt down a collectible you missed, or just experience the story without the survival-horror friction, these staged saves let you load any point in the campaign at will. No New Game Plus required. No second playthrough. Just drop in, pick your moment, and play.
The saves are built for the Steam PC version, and they’ll work with a bit of account re-signing—which is covered below.
What’s Inside the Save Archive
This isn’t a single end-game file. The archive contains a complete, staged playthrough of Resident Evil Requiem in Classic Mode, broken into multiple save points across the roughly 20-hour campaign. Each save corresponds to a distinct story moment, so you can jump directly to:
- Any chapter or major story beat you want to replay
- Specific areas where you may have missed items or collectibles
- Points before tough encounters you’d rather approach with better preparation
The entire playthrough was completed in Classic Mode, meaning the difficulty, item placement, and enemy behavior all match that mode’s parameters. You’re not getting an Easy Mode save disguised as Classic—this is the real thing, start to finish.
Save File Location
The saves live in your Steam userdata directory. The folder ID for these specific saves is 455259734, but the full path requires your own account’s folder number: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[Your Steam folder ID]\3764200\remote\win64_save
Critical distinction: Steam uses two different numeric IDs, and mixing them up will break the process.
| ID Type | Value | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| SteamID64 | 76561198415525462 | Long account ID; used for re-signing saves |
| userdata folder ID | Varies per account | Short folder number; used only to locate your save directory |
The SteamID64 for these saves is 76561198415525462. You’ll need it during the re-signing step. The userdata folder ID is the one that appears in your file path—it’s unique to your Steam installation.
Installation: Why Simple Copying Won’t Work
Here’s the catch: Resident Evil Requiem ties save files to your Steam account. If you just copy these saves into your folder and launch the game, it won’t recognize them. The game checks the account signature embedded in each save file, and a mismatch means the saves are invisible.
The current working method is MandarinJuice, a save re-signing utility, paired with the game profile Resident Evil 9 Requiem.

Step-by-Step Re-Signing
- Download the latest version of MandarinJuice and its profile pack.
- Unpack the program into its own folder—don’t mix it with your saves.
- Unpack the downloaded saves into a separate folder.
- Run MandarinJuice.
- In the Game Profile field, select Resident Evil 9 Requiem.
- In the Input Folder field, point to the folder containing the downloaded saves.
- In the User ID INPUT field, enter the save’s SteamID64: 76561198415525462.
- In the User ID OUTPUT field, enter your own SteamID64.
- Click Re-sign All.
- The re-signed files will appear in the _OUTPUT folder inside the program directory.
Warning: Do not place the downloaded saves in the same folder as MandarinJuice itself. The program can fail to process files correctly when the input folder overlaps with its own directory.
Before You Replace Files: The First Typewriter Rule
You cannot just overwrite your save folder and hope for the best. The game needs to establish a baseline first. Here’s the sequence that works:
- Launch Resident Evil Requiem.
- Start a new game.
- Progress until you reach the first typewriter—the earliest save point in the game.
- Create at least one save of your own, ideally several.
- Fully close the game.
- Disable Steam Cloud for the game before touching any files.
To disable Steam Cloud:
- Open Steam.
- Right-click on Resident Evil Requiem in your library.
- Select Properties.
- In the General tab, uncheck Steam Cloud synchronization.
Only after that, replace the files in your win64_save folder with the re-signed files from the _OUTPUT folder. Then launch the game and check whether the saves load.
Tip: Back up your original save folder before replacing anything. If something goes wrong, you want a clean restore path.
After Loading: Re-Enable Cloud Sync and Verify
Once the saves appear and load correctly:
- Close the game.
- Re-enable Steam Cloud in the game’s Properties.
- Launch the game again.
- Exit the game once more so Steam uploads the local working saves to the cloud.
This ensures your cloud saves match your local files, so a future reinstall or PC change doesn’t wipe your progress.
The _OUTPUT Folder Is Empty
If MandarinJuice doesn’t generate re-signed files, check these in order:
- User ID INPUT is incorrect — verify you entered 76561198415525462 exactly.
- Your User ID OUTPUT is incorrect — double-check your own SteamID64.
- The save folder is inside the program folder — move the saves to a separate directory.
- You selected the wrong game profile — confirm it’s Resident Evil 9 Requiem, not a generic RE profile.
The Game Doesn’t Create Saves at All
If the game won’t write its own save files, the problem is likely environmental:
- Confirm the folder
Steam\userdata\[Your ID]\3764200\remote\win64_saveactually exists. - Check that the Steam folder has write permissions.
- Verify antivirus or Windows itself isn’t blocking writes to the save directory.
- Ensure Steam Cloud synchronization is disabled during file replacement—a conflicting sync can overwrite or block local changes.
Saves Still Invisible After Replacement
Re-check the two most common failure points:
- SteamID64 accuracy — a single wrong digit breaks the signature.
- The win64_save path — make sure you’re placing files in the correct folder ID (
3764200) and not a sibling directory.
Quick Reference
| Item | Value |

The process takes about ten minutes from download to in-game confirmation. Compare that to twenty hours of playthrough time, and the math does itself.
