Requiem: How to Turn the Music On

As of this initial post, the game music by default is at a very low volume. This is why many players think the game doesn’t have music at all, or that it is bugged, or turned off, hence the name of this guide. Neither is the case. I even read some reviews about the game complaining that its music is bugged. It’s not, it’s just at a low volume. To increase the music volume, follow these steps:

1. Launch Requiem through Steam
2. At the game launcher, click “Start”
3. Select your server -> Select or create and select your character -> Enter your passcode -> Wait for the game to load
4. Press “ESC” key -> Click “Game Settings” -> Click “Sound”
5. Make sure “Sound Output” is ON, and that all volumes are high, preferably at maximum
6. You may also turn “Repeat Background Music” ON

By default, sound volume for Requiem is low. Maybe this will be fixed in the future, but at the moment of my initial posting, it’s very low. Take a look at what it is by default:
