Cupids
The valentines day event spawns cupids around the map that look like this:
Melee
To kill the cupids you need to melee them with a melee weapon.
Hearts
When you kill them you get hearts, to see how many hearts say “showvdayhearts”

Now that you have hearts you can go to the holiday shop located here on the map:
