To install these save files, follow these steps:
- Disable Steam Cloud Saves: Before proceeding, make sure to disable Steam Cloud saves for Foregone or switch to offline mode in Steam.
- Navigate to the Game Directory: Go to
%appdata% > LocalLow > Big Blue Bubble Inc > Foregone. - Replace the Files: Copy and paste the provided save files into your game directory.
Types of Save Files
The save files provided are categorized based on different stages of the game. Choose the one that best suits your needs:
- Foregone Before Zeus Fight:
- Use this save file if you want to start with a pre-game+ file.
- This save is ideal for players who wish to experience the game from an early stage of the New Game+ mode.
- Foregone Game+ Before Last Skill Upgrade:
- Select this save if you want to play from the point just before the last skill unlock.
- To complete the Full Potential achievement, teleport to the Caverns, waypoint 3, and backtrack down and left to a large rectangular room to collect the last skill upgrade.
- Foregone Game+ Before Zeus Fight with Maxed All Skills:
- If you have completed the game but are missing the “A Foregone Conclusion” achievement due to a bug, this save file is for you.
- It includes all previous achievements and is located just before the Zeus fight. Defeat Zeus and choose the kill option to unlock the final achievement.
