WARNING! Pay attention! some areas will not have the exact items and the game will warn you… if that’s the case make sure you customize for that particular embark.
As soon as you land you will have Z E R O food and the game will warn you. The fix is simple, gather whatever plants are around you.
Animals
1. Assign zones.
2. Build and place ‘nest box’.
3. Train dogs to become war dogs.
What next?
1. Zone animals for pasture.
2. Zone dogs for training.
3. Assign the expedition leader as the Broker, Manager, and Book keeper.
4. Strike the earth!
5. Don’t waste time find a rock layer.
6. Build:
- Smelter
- Metalsmith’s Forge
- Carpenter
- Stoneworker
- Gemcutter
- Glassfurnace
7. Make your build orders (don’t forget to make bird boxes).
8. Make picks / axes
9. Build a 3×3 farm (should make enough for 100 dwarfs)
10. Make a still
11. Make rooms.
12. Trade and profit.
