In this guide of Coral Island , I would like to explain how the ring toss game works and how to beat it (and that smug little child).

How Game Work
So the ring toss game is as you’d imagine, a game in which you throw rings onto the skulls in order to claim the points they hold. The bar at the bottom is confusing, but basically, the bar on the right (and the biggest one) is the power bar, and it just represents how far the arrow that initiates your shot goes. It also determines how far your shot goes and there’s no going back once you press it. Now that the distance is determined, you are going to select your throwing angle. The bar on the left, and also the smallest one, represents the angle in which you shoot your shot. There is some weird things that happen with that bar, but the idea is if you hit the yellow bar inside of that left bar, it’ll sink your shot in directly forward. There is only one specific circumstance in which you don’t want to hit inside of that yellow bar, but I’ll explain later. The last, and most important piece of info that I was unaware of, is that you can move left and right. I’ll let you know further on if it’s recommended to move or not.
Tips for Shots
Now that you understand how to shoot the shots, I’ll explain to you how to hit certain shots. Know that for perfect points, you have to sink every last one. There are 3 30 point skulls, in which I’ll describe as furthest, left, and right. There is 1 20 point skull, which I’ll just dub mid, and 2 10 point skulls, which I’ll call lefty and middy.
Skull tips, in order of how I recommend to sink these shots in. This is the precedent for how I will be describing the skulls. [Name, is based on the location relative to the other skulls with its worth] – [point count] – [description]
Furthest – 30pts – I recommend going for this first because in my opinion, it is the easiest one to hit. Do not move your character left or right. Increase your power until you (the distance arrow) are behind the skull. Then when sinking the shot, make sure that you hit as close as you can to the right of the yellow bar, either on the black border of the yellow bar or a little to the right.
Mid – 20pts – I recommend this one next. Push your power until your distance arrow is in between Left (the 30 pt skull) and Right (the other 30 pt skull). It should land slightly behind Mid (this 20 pt skull), and from there, just hit the yellow bar or hit slightly right INSIDE the yellow bar.
Middy – 10pts – The learner’s shot, and can be done at any point. Push your power until your distance arrow is slightly behind him. Just hit as close to the center of the yellow bar as you can and it should be an easy shot.
Moving Shots
These ones are highly recommended for you to move the player character.
Lefty – 10pts – Align your character until you believe you are directly in front of it. Remember to just aim a little behind it and hit the yellow bar as close to the center as possible.
Left – 30pts – Same as above. Not much to say.
Right – 30pts – Align your character until you believe you are directly in front of it. Repeat steps from above.
