So you’ve picked up the Unholy Fusion DLC for CloverPit and want to know what’s actually worth your time? I’ve spent hours poking around every corner of this expansion, testing the Surgery Machine, Fusion Charms, new memory cards, and the Apocalypse ending. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of it.
Surgery Machine Costs
The Surgery Machine lets you combine charms, but it’s not cheap. Here’s what you’ll need to pay for each operation:
- Operation 1: 200 coins
- Operation 2: 400 coins
- Operation 3: 1,200 coins
- Operation 4: 4,800 coins
- Operation 5: 24,000 coins
- Operation 6: 144,000 coins
- Operation 7: 1,008,000 coins
- Operation 8: 8,064,000 coins
- Operation 9: 72,576,000 coins
The cost multiplier increases by 1 with each operation. So the second operation costs double the first, the third costs triple the second, and so on. Plan your coin spending carefully.
New Memory Cards
The DLC adds several new memory cards with unique effects. Here’s what each one does:
1. Living on the Edge – You can only insert coins after the last round of each deadline. This changes your usual timing strategy completely.
2. Rotten Business – The shop only stocks one can of sardines, and it always comes with a stat bonus. You start the game with a skull and red pepper already active. My advice: In a previous game, put 4 items into boxes, then start a new game with this card. Otherwise, getting charms is nearly impossible since the shop only has sardines.
3. Dangerous Experiments – After performing an operation, your coins get refunded. This makes the Surgery Machine essentially free to use.
4. Herd Instinct – Every symbol has a chance to drop with the “Copy” modifier. However, no stat-boosting charms appear in the shop during this run.
5. Light Outside, Darkness Inside – Charms in the shop and boxes appear without stats. The only way to get a charm with stats is by fusing it through the Surgery Machine. Using other charms to create new ones didn’t work for me.
6. Vicious Circle – Red phone calls can only be red or yellow. This card is a bit buggy though – in practice, only red calls actually appear. Ignoring red calls doesn’t remove 666 from the floppy disk, so getting an angel call is impossible.
7. Consequences – All charms cost exactly 1 clover ticket. When you buy a charm, there’s a 50% chance the price increases by 1. Here’s a handy bug: If the price goes up, go to the menu and exit the game. When you reload, the price will be back to 1.
New Modifiers

1. Vengeance – Scoring with a symbol that has this modifier gives you back 5% of the coins you lost from 666 drops during this game.
2. Copy – This modifier turns into whatever modifier is closest to it on the slot machine. The closest one is the modifier in the bottom right corner, with bottom symbols having priority.
3. Investor – Scoring with this modifier increases your interest rate by 1 until the end of the round.
4. Growth – Scoring with this modifier gives you +1 symbol multiplier until the deadline hits.
Devil Charms
When you get a red phone call, you can now grab a devil charm – but you’ll lose all your coins. Here’s what’s available:
1. Betrayal – 40% chance to activate: Turns all symbol modifiers into “Vengeance” modifiers.
2. Despair – Unknown chance of symbols with “Vengeance” modifier appearing for your highest-probability symbols.
3. Limbo – Red button activation (1 charge): +10 to percentages until deadline, but your debt permanently increases by 100-500%.
4. Lover #1 – +5% chance for symbols with “Vengeance” modifier to appear.
5. Lover #2 – +3% chance for 666 to appear.
6. Cruelty – Increases the chance of “Vengeance” modifier symbols appearing. Vengeance modifiers give double coins.
7. Greed – +20% chance for symbols with “Investor” modifier. +2% chance for 666.
8. Wrath – Gives you 1 extra round when 666 appears for the third time in a deadline.
9. Heresy – +3% chance for 666. Increases “Vengeance” modifier symbol chance by double your 666 chance.
10. Gluttony – When a charm gets removed by an effect (not manually), you get coins equal to what you lost from 666 drops this game.
11. Deception – Cuts charm prices in half at the shop. Cuts refresh costs in half. Gets removed when placed in a box. Yes, it actually lowers prices despite what the description says.
Fusion Charms
These are charms you create by combining other charms through the Surgery Machine. You need to put the ingredients in a box and have enough coins.
1. Junk – Takes no space. Permanently increases all symbols’ value by their base amount.
2. Trash Can – Takes no space. +1 symbol multiplier permanently.
3. Barrel – Takes no space. +1 combo multiplier permanently.
4. VIP Card – 40% chance to activate: When buying a charm, might refill the display case. Doesn’t work for charms that fully refresh the shop.
5. Poker Deck – If all basic symbols appear in a round, permanently doubles all symbols’ value.
6. Amalgam – +30% chance for symbols with “Copy” modifier. Drops by 1% each round. Gets removed at 0%.
7. Eternal Rest – Blocks all charms in the shop that aren’t mentioned in the operation protocol.
8. Resurrection – Charms removed during a round reappear in future shop refreshes (except Strange Clock). Only works for charms that can appear in the shop.
9. Book of Ra – 40% chance to activate: When close to death, fully pays your debt and moves you to the next deadline. Removed after 3 activations. Note: It doesn’t override Ankh. I had both, and Ankh removed itself when I died, sending me to another deadline.
10. Sacrifice – Red button activation (1 charge). You lose all remaining spins and end the round. +1 combo multiplier for each spin sacrificed. -1 combo multiplier for each spin already used this round. Important: This charm carries the combo multiplier. If you remove the charm, you lose the multiplier too.
11. Ten-Fingered Hamsa – Re-activates combos during the first round of each deadline. +4 luck during the last round of each deadline.
12. Seal of the Ancients – +10% chance for any symbol with “Growth” modifier. Bonus increases by 1% when you get 5+ combos in a spin (max 50%). Resets when 666 appears.
13. Platinum Record – After every 2 spins, activates one of these: +7 luck, boost up/down combos, or +1 combo repeat for this spin.
14. Magnificent Trumpet – Re-activates all red button charms. 30% chance to re-activate charms when using the red button. Note: The extra effect doesn’t apply to all charms equally. When I activated two charms at once, one triggered three times and the other only twice.
15. First Place Prize – 40% chance to activate. Permanently increases all symbols’ value by their base amount.
16. Lust – On the last spin of the first 2 rounds each deadline, 666 appears. +30% chance for “Vengeance” modifier symbols in the last round of each deadline.
17. Black Hole – When removed, adds all charms used in the last operation to empty boxes. You can’t get a charm you already have though. I used Jimbo + D20, got Jimbo from the shop, removed Black Hole, and only got D20.
18. Shopping Cart – Takes no space. Doubles your free refreshes. 10% chance to reset them to 0.
19. Mad Emperor – +10% chance for any symbol with any modifier. Bonus increases by 10% for each additional fusion charm at the slot machine.
20. Space Kitty – +10% chance for symbols with “Investor” modifier. When you get 3+ combos in a spin, chance increases by +5% until round end, and gives coins equal to your percentage.
21. Apocalypse – Instant death, then starts a new game with the same memory card and all charms at the slot machine. Everything else resets.
22. Express Train – If you finish a round without earning coins, permanently doubles symbol and combo multipliers.
23. Booster Pack – Takes no space. Adds a random fusion charm to an empty box. This is how I unlocked Sacrifice without having its ingredients.
24. Magic Potion – The X symbol appears more often (+4). Changes randomly each deadline. Putting it in a box won’t stop the symbol change.
25. Sin – At the end of each round, doubles your coins and clover tickets. Each deadline, reduces them to 0.
26. Beachfront Hotel – Adds 3 extra charm slots.
27. Exotic Matter – Before each spin, restores all charges to red button charms. Each red button activation permanently doubles your debt.
28. Black Pepper – 7% chance to activate. +3 luck until round end.
29. Cat Toy – +8 luck and 2 extra spins if the last 3 spins gave no rewards.
Secret Ending

When you get the Apocalypse charm, you immediately die and see this message:
“INNER EYE – Pacific Division Record No. 56 After numerous experiments, Patient No. 01 refuses to cooperate. For the next integration, we will use an approach based on more positive reinforcement. Moving to the standard regeneration process. With memory retention of past attempts.”
This starts a new game with your old memory card and charms still active.
Final Thoughts
The Unholy Fusion DLC adds a ton of depth to CloverPit, especially if you enjoy experimenting with charm combinations. The Surgery Machine costs can get brutal, so focus on the Dangerous Experiments memory card if you want to fuse freely. Devil charms are risky but can pay off if you’re chasing 666 drops. And if you’re going for the secret ending, just know that Apocalypse wipes most of your progress but keeps your memory card active.
Have you tried any of these fusion charms yet? Which one worked best for your playstyle? Drop a comment and let me know what combos you’ve discovered!
