This is a list of all the red text guns, shields and grenade mods in Borderlands 3.
It will show where / how to get every weapon, what makes them special, and what elements they come in.
Weapons that come from a DLC will be labeled which DLC they come from; You must own the DLC in order to find / even use the weapon.
DLC weapons that can be found from any loot souce means that the loot souce MUST BE FROM THAT DLC; You CANNOT get DLC weapons from base game loot sources.
Until I made this guide I literally didn’t know CAPTAIN Traunt was on Athenas and GENERAL Traunt was on Nekrotefeyo, so I have it labeled which planet you should kill Traunt on.
Special Cases
– The Big S*cc functions identically to a green vladof assault rifle, so it won’t be listed here.
– The Black Flame, a mission weapon from Witch’s Brew, has no description as to what makes it special, so I will not include it here. (If this gets updated on the wiki I will change it here)
