For Snake Eyes Dungeon players who want to make some changes to save files, this guide will show you how to modify your save file to get more coins.
Where is my save file?
The save file of this game locates at
on Windows systems. You could search for aacasmlle.bin if you can’t find it at that location.
What is written in the save file?
First of all, make sure that your game is closed. Backup the save file in case that you do something wrong.
This .bin file could be opened with any text reader like Notebook. Once opened, you could see that there are a lot of variables saved in the format xxx=”yyy”. Find the line that looks like
Simple version: Replace <something here> with
. Close the file and reopen the game. You will see that you’ve already got 10000 coins.
How does this work?
The variable c here means the number of coins you have. You may have noticed that the thing on the right doesn’t look like a number, but actually it is a number, just encoded in base64 format, recursively, for 7 times.
So, if you want to customize your coin number, what you need to do is just googling “base64 encode”. Choose any website you like to help you with base64 encoding. Recursively encode a number you like for 7 times. Then copy what you get to replace <something here> in the save file.
In principle you could also modify other things in this save file, but they may be encoded in a different way so you may need to look into their code. But if you really want to check their code, I would suggest that you directly modify the code because it’s faster…
