A guide on how to use mosaics and general tips and tricks
How To Place a Mosaic on a Wall Joint
Do you want to make mosaics like this?
But always end up with something like this?
Because of this?
Ok so we need the basics so grab any floor like so
Then you need the following;
- A wall or two or three, depending on the size of your mosaic (For Louvre size I suggest 63,975 walls)
- A column for each joint line between walls (I will let you geniuses figure this one out for 63,975 walls). The best columns are ones that blend in with the wall (An invisible column seems pointless, but it works in our favor, yay DAISY!)
- The mosaics of your choice (Let me know how many mosaics takes to make a mosaic bigger than the Louvre, asking for a friend).
- Lots of hair, will power and a few extra lives (If you ask Captain nicely he may even send you some cheese to go with your whine).
Ok now that we have a gallery bigger than the Louvre and more walls than my inner ego, we can get started (But we already started you say? I know, I know, I really have no idea what I am doing here).
Place your walls (on top of the floor you placed – in case I was not clear).
Grab some columns and throw a few mosaics on them (Be gentle though, columns have feelings too you know!)
Ok, I bet you can guess what step is next? (If not, please go back to step one)
If you guessed it, congratulations you win nothing.
Place the columns in the wall joints (May take a few adjustments to line them up to the other mosaics).
Add your mosaics (if you are making the Louvre one, I will see you in about seven lifetimes).
And tada! So easy, even Juneau could do it.
