That is exactly why I put together a Blueprint Collection on GitHub — custom-made buildings and parking garages that anyone can grab for free instead of laying every tile by hand.
If you are still getting your head around the building tools before you touch downloaded files, it helps to skim a begginers’ guide first, because understanding how placement, costs, and structures work makes dropping in someone else’s blueprint far less confusing.
What Is Actually in the Collection?
The download library is not just one style of structure. It covers a range of things you can drop straight into your city, including:
Parking garages and parking facilities — useful when you want dense storage for vehicles without hand-drawing every ramp and space. Office buildings that come with integrated parking spaces, which saves you from baking parking into the surrounding streets. And a few extra builds beyond the usual, such as an American-style fire station for anyone who wants a bit of character in their layout.
Every single blueprint ships with its own description. That write-up tells you the size of the build, what it costs to construct, and any special features worth knowing before you commit. Preview images are included too, so you can look at the finished building and decide whether it fits your city before you ever download the file.
How to Grab a Blueprint
The process is short, and I have walked through it enough times to know the order matters. Open the GitHub collection using the link at the bottom of this section. Pick the folder that matches the building you want. Inside, open the README.md file — that is where the description and images live. From there, click the blueprint download link, and you will pull down a .cpbp file. That extension is the one you want; if you end up with anything else, you grabbed the wrong thing.
One thing I want to be blunt about: these blueprints are not mods. They are saved buildings, created inside the game itself. That distinction matters because it means no mod loader, no version-matching headaches — they behave like structures you built yourself.
