Beastro: All Recipes – The Full Guide

Posted on June 16, 2026

41 recipes to unlock in Beastro. The path to collecting them all isn’t just “cook everything.” Some dishes need Culinary Points, others are handed to you by default, and a few are locked behind main story progression. The confusing part: unlocking a recipe costs only one of each ingredient, but crafting the dish afterward can eat multiples. And the color of your ingredients? Probably doesn’t matter. This guide cuts through the bullshit. You’ll learn exactly how to spend your Culinary Points for maximum efficiency, which recipes give the best combat cards and customer profits, and how the five flavor attributes—Sweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, Spicy, and Fresh—actually interact with your deck and your restaurant. Every recipe listed with its unlock method, ingredient requirements, card effects (for Base Recipes), or Price/Time/Appeal stats (for Customer Meals), plus the hidden flavor tags on special ingredients the game never explains.

How Unlocking Works: The One-Ingredient Rule

Before the list, understand the ingredient economy. To unlock a recipe, you need one unit of each ingredient listed. That’s it. The color—green, blue, purple—doesn’t seem to affect unlock eligibility, though this remains unofficially unconfirmed by the devs. Once unlocked, crafting the dish consumes the quantities shown in parentheses. Example: Sticky Beef Burger needs Honey King Snake Tail Stinger and Bonsai Pork (5). You unlock it with one Bonsai Pork, but each subsequent craft burns five.

This distinction is key for resource management. Don’t waste high-quantity ingredients on unlocking recipes you’ll never cook. Prioritize unlocks for dishes whose card effects or customer stats justify the recurring cost.

Default Unlocked Recipes

You start with four recipes already available. These are your early-game workhorses, and they cost zero Culinary Points.

Delicious Chicken Salad — Base Recipe

  • Ingredients: Delicious Chicken, Conch, Mixed Vegetables
  • Card Effects: None listed (no combat/bonus data)
  • Customer Meal stats: Price 30, Time 80, Appeal 25

Delicious Chicken Poke Bowl — Base Recipe

  • Ingredients: Delicious Chicken, Rice, Mixed Vegetables
  • Card Effects: None listed
  • Customer Meal stats: Price 20, Time 100, Appeal 25

Cloud Berry Jam Toast — Base Recipe

Ground Peeping Onion Soup — Base Recipe

These four dishes are your baseline. Delicious Chicken Salad has the best early Price-to-Time ratio among defaults: 30 gold for 80 seconds. The soups and toast are cheap to make but low-profit. Use them to pad your menu while you save Culinary Points for the unlocks below.

Recipes Unlocked by Spending Culinary Points

This is the bulk of your recipe book. 37 recipes to purchase with Culinary Points, earned through cooking, serving customers, and completing tasks. The order below is the recommended unlock priority based on card power, customer profit, and ingredient accessibility.

Priority Tier 1: Combat Powerhouses

Bone Marrow Pasta — Base Recipe

  • Ingredients: Thunder Roar Beast Meat, Swamp Ball Vegetable
  • Card Effects: Bitter 8, Bitter 8 — Refill hand without cost 15 times
  • Why unlock first: This is the single most powerful card effect in the game for resource generation. Refilling your hand 15 times for free can cascade into endless combos. The Bitter x2 flavor profile also unlocks high-value flavor synergy cards.

Volcano Turtle Crisp — Base Recipe

  • Ingredients: Volcano Turtle Scale, Blazing Tomato, Moo Moo Milk
  • Card Effects: Spicy 8, Fresh 8, Sour 6 — Refill hand without cost 10 times
  • Second-best hand refill, with a broader flavor spread. Spicy and Fresh are rarer attributes, making this dish valuable for meeting specific flavor thresholds in combat.

Tsunami Turtle Ravioli — Base Recipe

  • Ingredients: Tsunami Turtle Cheek Meat, Fresh Dough
  • Card Effects: Sweet 9, Salty 8 — Discard without cost 15 times
  • Free discards are essential for cycling through your deck to find key cards. Fifteen discards is an enormous amount of deck control.

Thorn Wolf Tail Soup — Base Recipe

  • Ingredients: Thorn Wolf Tail, Explosive Crab, Sea Palm
  • Card Effects: Bitter 7, Salty 7 — Discard without cost 10 times
  • A cheaper alternative to Tsunami Turtle Ravioli, using Explosive Crab (which carries a hidden Salty tag) and Sea Palm. The Bitter/Salty combo is common in mid-game decks.

Lava Elephant Taco — Base Recipe

  • Ingredients: Sour Sunrise, Lava Elephant Tentacle
  • Card Effects: Sour 8, Spicy 8 — Stamina +15
  • Stamina is your life total in combat. +15 stamina is a massive buffer, especially in boss fights. The Sour/Spicy flavor pair is also strong.

Priority Tier 2: High-Profit Customer Meals

Sticky Beef Burger — Customer Meal

  • Ingredients: Honey King Snake Tail Stinger, Bonsai Pork (5)
  • Price: 100, Time: 60, Appeal: 100
  • The highest Price and Appeal in the entire game, with a reasonable Time cost. The catch is the Bonsai Pork quantity (5 per craft). Only unlock this when you have a steady Bonsai Pork supply.

Grotesque Spotted Shrimp Rice Bowl — Customer Meal

  • Ingredients: Grotesque Spotted Shrimp, Rice
  • Price: 75, Time: 60, Appeal: 75
  • Excellent efficiency. Rice is cheap and common. The Shrimp carries a hidden Spicy tag, which may influence future flavor-based customer mechanics.

Palm Wing Bat Eyeball Pie — Customer Meal

  • Ingredients: Palm Wing Bat Eyeball, Fresh Dough, Sand Hammer Salamander Meat
  • Price: 75, Time: 60, Appeal: 75
  • Same stats as the Shrimp Rice Bowl, but uses three ingredients. Unlock if you have the resources; otherwise, prioritize the simpler recipe.

Berry Bear Hair Fried Rice Ball — Customer Meal

  • Ingredients: Berry Bear Hair, Rice
  • Price: 75, Time: 60, Appeal: 75
  • Another 75/60/75 dish with only two ingredients. Rice is everywhere, and Berry Bear Hair is moderately common. This is a reliable money-maker.

Explosive Crab Pasta — Base Recipe

  • Ingredients: Star Ribbon Jellyfish, Explosive Crab, Moo Moo Milk
  • Card Effects: Sour 10, Salty 10, Spicy 10

Sour Juice Blazing Lobster — Base Recipe

  • Ingredients: Shrimp, Blazing Lobster Claw, Bergamot Fruit

Recipes Unlocked via Main Story Progress

Only one recipe is confirmed to be story-locked at this time.

Bonsai Pork Skewers — Base Recipe

  • Ingredients: Bonsai Pork, Blooming Mushroom
  • Card Effects: None listed
  • Customer Meal stats: Price 25, Time 80, Appeal 25
  • This dish is weak in both combat and profit. It exists primarily for narrative flavor. Don’t prioritize it.

Hidden Ingredient Flavor Tags

Several ingredients carry hidden flavor attributes that aren’t displayed in the crafting menu. These tags can stack with or override the explicit flavors of a recipe. Based on extracted game data:

  • Star Ribbon Jellyfish — Hidden: Spicy
  • Explosive Crab — Hidden: Salty
  • Shrimp — Hidden: Spicy

This means Explosive Crab Pasta, which lists Sour 10, Salty 10, Spicy 10, may actually have a higher effective Spicy value if the Star Ribbon Jellyfish’s hidden Spicy tag is additive. Similarly, any dish using Shrimp gains an implicit Spicy boost. The exact mechanics of flavor stacking aren’t documented, but treating these hidden tags as bonuses is a safe assumption.

Flavor Attributes and Their Role

The five primary flavors—Sweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, Spicy—plus the rarer Fresh attribute, serve two purposes:

  1. Combat thresholds: Certain enemy cards or encounter effects require you to have a minimum total of a specific flavor in your hand or deck. High-value single-flavor cards like Explosive Crab Pasta (Sour 10, Salty 10, Spicy 10) or Hot Dog (Sweet 10, Bitter 10, Sour 10, Fresh 10) are designed to meet these thresholds in one card.
  1. Flavor synergy cards: Some of your own cards grant bonuses based on the flavors you have played. Example: a card might say “If you have played 3 Sweet cards this turn, draw 2 cards.” Building a deck around one or two dominant flavors can trigger these effects consistently.

For general-purpose play, aim for a mix of Sweet, Sour, and Spicy, as these are the most common flavor requirements in early and mid-game encounters. Bitter and Fresh appear more in late-game content.
