Markus Ritter Ghosts Of The Past – Achievement Guide

You’ll get these simply by progressing through the game.

The following ones are achieveable by either making the right decision at the right time or by interacting with things at certain locations.

• Happy Ending(Day: Monday, Character: Markus) After coming back from Neubadgasse the first time, choose the 3rd dialogue option while talking to Ludwig.
• Hiding in plain sight(Day: Monday, Character: Markus) During the chase scene with the Shadow, choose to hide behind the corner.
• What were you thinking?(Day: Monday, Character: Markus) During the chase scene with the Shadow, go all the way to the end and then hide behind the lamp post.
• Potatoe Love(Earliest day: Tuesday, Character: Roberta) Interact with the potato in the study sitting right in front of the mirror.
• Eggcellent(Earliest day: Tuesday, Character: Roberta) Interact with the fridge.
• Animal Lover(Earliest day: Tuesday, Character: Roberta) For this one interact with the woods near the mountain hut. (Not sure, if this one is also achieveable while playing as Markus later on.)
• Not so smart(Day: Wednesday, Character: Roberta) Wash away the evidence.

  To do this, first collect the murder weapon in the cellar in order to be able to get the finger print set items. Next, head over to the kitchen, grab a mug from the shelf & fill it with water at any of the sinks around the house. Then head over to Oliver and use the filled mug on him to get his finger prints. After that head up to the bathroom opposite of Adrian’s/Tessa’s bedroom and interact with the mirror to get the powder. Use the powder on the filled mug & then use said mug on any sink around the house.

• Agatha Christie(Day: Wednesday, Character: Markus & Roberta) Collect all the evidence to solve the crime at the lake house.

  I.e.: Murder weapon (R), finger prints (R), Oliver’s note in Adrian’s/Pia’s room (M) & picture in Oliver’s bag (M). As Roberta, talk to Ludwig during the investigation to get note & picture from him. (I’m not sure if note and picture count for it, but can’t hurt to get them too. I also don’t know whether you truly have to collect the piece of Tessa’s dress in the bathroom or interact with the blood outside. Again, can’t hurt to do that.)

• Perfect hearing(Day: Wednesday, Character: Roberta) Collect the lock pick set in the mountain hut then
  unlock the door at the publisher Flimmer without fail. Save your game before attempting it just in case, then follow the solution posted by the devs. (Might be that this is gonna be changed at some point. In that case go by trial and error while listening to the sound cues.

  

• Could you not?!(Day: Wednesday, Character: Roberta) At the pathology, interact with the door to the operating theater multiple times. !DON’T pick up the book from the post office yet, otherwise you’ll miss this achievement.
• Keymaster(Day: Thursday, Character: Markus) Get the key from the freezer. There’s two solutions for this.

  A) Collect a log outside of the mountain hut, head into the kitchen and get the pot from the freezer. Then put the pot on the older stove. Use log & lighter on the stove then interact with the pot to get the key.

  B) Get the pot from the freezer and put it on the newer stove. Then interact with it to get the key.

• Over the rainbow(Day: Thursday, Character: Roberta) While you’re inside the kidnapper’s cellar, interact with the corpse’s rainbow socks.

The next ones require interactions throughout the entire playthrough:

• And Flush(Character: Markus & Roberta) Interact with all the toilets available. 1 at Ludwig’s place, 1 at mountain hut, 3 at lake house & 1 at villa. No idea, if you gotta flush them on every possible day or if it’s enough to do each at least once. Can’t hurt to try each possible ones on every day though.
• Mirror Mirror(Character: Markus & Roberta) Interact with the mirrors to get the video sequences.
  (As Markus, interact with the mirror at Ludwig’s appartment before changing clothes.)

  Not sure, if you have to interact with the same mirrors on each possible day or if it’s enough to get each video sequence once. In the playthrough I’ve gotten the achievement in, I did interact with the same mirrors multiple times, just in case. (I also interacted with the TVs to include every reflecting object, cause why not.)

• Not without my coffee(Character: Markus) Use the coffee machine at Ludwig’s place on every possible day.
• For you(Day: Thursday, Friday & Saturday, Character: Markus) Pick up 3 flowers throughout the game.

  Thursday: Flower right outside the mountain hut.
  Friday: Flower on the right path next to the statue at Schönbrunn.
  Saturday: Flower next to the pool at the villa.

• Immortal(Day: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Character: Markus & Roberta) Complete a playthrough without dying.

  Monday: As Markus, interact with the bike while being chased by the Shadow.
  Wednesday: As Roberta, find the murderer with the Cluedo app the first time. Attempting this while not having all the evidence or not having interviewed the suspects yet may get you killed here.
  Thursday: As Roberta, save Markus from the Shadow at the first attempt.
