For Ion Fury players, this is a picture guide to help you get “Defusal Expert” as well as “Defusal Recruit”. In arrange mode there are bombs hidden within the maps which you can defuse as side objective. I say can because besides not getting 2 achievements, in game nothing changes if you don’t defuse them. If you want to look for them yourself, turn off music and listen for the distinctive ticking sound they make. Trying to figure out where they are and how to get there when you can already hear them is kind of fun. Know how to strafe run/jump and have a pair of boots on you all the time.
Zone 1: Night on the Town
Where you can get the “Gone Batty” achievement. So up those AC’s and power lines at the “The Playful Noodle”. Jump through the window, then head over to the other side and proceed to the “Bacon” sign for the bomb.
Act 2: Trouble in Paradise
In the outside area you will notice some water on both sides. Jump into either one and dive through to the other side. Bomb will be on the middle of the connecting pipe.
Act 3: Fan Service
Near the end, where the bloody big fan and the bottomless pit is. Next to a “u-turn” sign you will notice a fan on the wall. Shoot it and use double jump to get in there. Follow to get to the bomb.
Act 4: Cultural Divide
Find the “Turd-O-Rama” for the “Golden Toilet”, open it and hop in. You have to go up some containers and use some power lines to get to the bomb. Get a trash bag into the brown
container on the ground and use it to get up the first ladder into the next container. Once up there, activate the boots, jump up to the next ladder. Get out and jump over to the red container. Up the two ladders and jump over on the first power line. Move forward and at the end of that power line, jump over to the next one. Follow it to the wall to get to the bomb
Act 5: Reformation Plaza
As you follow the way you will see two ATM’s on the left side. Interact with the broken one to get to the bomb behind it.
Zone 2: Downtown Disaster Relief
As soon as you get outside where you have to use the tank. On the right side is a hole in the fence, that’s where you need to go. You can either use boots to jump from left side to the right side. Or you use all the lights in the area that go all the way around to get to the bomb.
Act 2: Alphabet Soup
In the last area of the shooting range. Middle window, last floor. Use a trash bag to get up on the wall on the right side. From there jump into first window and from there up to the
window in the middle.
Act 3: Defense Farce
In the “pink area” with the armor shards on the ceiling use a chair to get up to those rafters. Shoot the vent, get inside and follow it. The bomb is up on a ledge next to a car.
Act 4: D.C. Meltdown
You can either get to this point from outside using the “broken wall” or from inside using the elevator. Activate your boots and jump up on the stone platform where it is the lowest. Bomb is right up there.
Act 5: Nukage Nightmare
After beating the boss, stick to the right where the broken house with all the slime is. Jump over there using all the rubble to get to the bomb.
Zone 3: Institutionalized
In front of the building you will see a limousine. It has a “glowing” cross on the hood. Pressing it will make the car move and reveal the bomb beneath it.

Where you can get the “The Owls are not what they seem” achievement. Go to the end of the red room to discover the bomb.
Act 3: Subhuman Resources
Right after you spawn, turn around and climb the ladder back down. When you start hearing the ticking, get slower and continue to move down until you get the “Bomb defused” message on
screen. Don’t go down any further or you will die.
Act 4: Executive Disorder
In the room with the piano. After the Revenant shot the window, jump outside to get to a secret. From the secret, activate boots and jump even further to the left into another open window. Bomb is right in there. This jump is tricky, even with boots. You will have to use strafe jumping to get it done.

In the cantina there is a vent on the ceiling. Shoot it and the bomb will fall down.
Zone 4: The Six Underground
The first “dark car” has a vent on the ceiling. Shoot it and the bomb will fall down.

bomb.

You will come across a giant silo with water on the ground. On its wall you will notice a yellow and red pipe, with just the “yellow” one continuing. From the stairs, activate boots and jump over
there to get to the bomb.
Act 5: Twist of Freight
If you survive for some time, the bomb will simply drop in the middle of the room.
Zone 5: Countryside Carnage

Act 2: Hazard Disposal
In the room with the slime and the spinning thing there are some platforms on the wall. Jump over from the rotating thing and up the platforms you get to the bomb.
Act 3: Parting Procedure
After the managers office you will fight a lot of zombies. When that is done, get in the vent (the only way you can go) and follow it. You will come across aonother vent with with a blue tube. Head left until you activate a secret and interacte with the vent on the blue tube. Enter it and flip the switch that is inside. Shoot wall with the vent on it to get to the bomb.
