In Jagged Alliance 3, there are four sample mods are provided with the game files for demonstration and starting point. Here is how to find them and what to do in order to see them in-game.

You can find the sample mods in ModTools folder and some of them in the Steam workshop. …\Steam\steamapps\common\Jagged Alliance 3.
In the ModTools folder you can find
- all 4 sample mods – Steam\steamapps\common\Jagged Alliance 3\ModTools\Samples\Mods
- their assets – \Steam\steamapps\common\Jagged Alliance 3\ModTools\Samples\Assets
These include the Blender scenes, .wav files, .tga files ect - Documentation – \Steam\steamapps\common\Jagged Alliance 3\ModTools\Docs

- and other useful files
How to activate the sample mods
In order for the sample mods to appear in your in-game Mod manager you need to copy them from the game files to the AppData folder.
1. Copy the mods you want from the ModTools folder in your game files.
2. Paste them in %AppData%\Roaming\Jagged Alliance 3\Mods
(the “Mods” folder might not exist if you haven’t subscribed to any mods yet, so you might need to create it.
3. Launch the game and enter Mod Manager.
