New player to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and got horrified by non-voiced tutorial that explains nothing and game not allowing you to read what your abilities actually do?
Victims. Abilities, skills and attributes.
All victims start with unique ability and same set of perks initially.
Shared set of perks:
Intuition: Holding a key item (fuse/valve) highlights the location it can be used for 40 seconds.
Exit Strategy: After unlocking the door, the door stays highlighted for all the Victims for 30 seconds.
Knock Knock: After escaping your restraints, all basement exists are highlighted for 30 seconds.
Attributes explanation:
Toughness – determines maximum health and how fast you recover when incapacitated.
Endurance – determines maximum stamina, stamina drain and restoration.
Strength – determines length of stun when attacking Family members, grappling, difficulty of strength-based tasks (like removing barricade from crawlspace)
Proficiency – determines the difficulty of skilled environmental checks, like lock picking.
Stealth – determines amount of noise made when doing loud things.
Ability: Focused.
Using Focused allows door to be unlocked almost instantly, but you are given stamina and Family proximity detection debuffs for a short duration.

Proficiency 35
Stealth 30
Ability: Life Saver
Attack and stun a family member. Does not work on Leatherface.
Attributes:

Proficiency 25

Ability: Pain is Nothing
While active, reduces damage taken and grants immunity to poison.
Attributes:
Toughness 35
Endurance 25
Strength 30
Proficiency 20

Ability: Heightened Sense
Detect noises made nearby, pinpointing their location and tracking their movement.
Attributes:
Toughness 15
Endurance 35
Strength 35
Proficiency 25
Stealth 15
Ability: Ultimate Escape
When active grants immunity to tracking skills of Family, also reduced stamina drain from sprinting.

Toughness 25
