You can use the Ekkolocator Gadget in-game for some of these to display on your map as well.
Some images needed to be resized to fit Steam’s image file size limit. There will be links at the bottom of this section for Albums to full sized images for each map.

Codex
The Codex menu is a collection of text and artwork related to each entry in each section. If you like lore, world-building, or want to checkout the artwork of some characters – this menu’s got you covered.
The Character entries all give some lore about the character. All 20 entries should be filled out as you progress through the story.
None of these seem missable.
The Enemy entries all give a description about the various enemies you’ve defeated, plus a little tip on their attack pattern or how to fight them. All 57 entries get added after defeating your first one, so as long as you kill everything you come across you’ll be able to fill out all of them.
None of these seem permanently missable, but you may need to backtrack if you miss an enemy.
The Location entries all provide lore and world-building descriptions for each location mentioned in the game. All 14 entries should be filled out as you progress through the story.
None of these seem missable.
The Technology entries all provide a description and a little lore of the various technological terms used throughout the game. All 6 entries should be filled out as you progress through the story.
None of these seem missable.
The Clockwork Champions entries provide a very brief flavor text about that League of Legends Champion. All 12 entries are unlocked by locating the respective Clockwork Champion item in Chests around each map and delivering them to Corin at the Entresol Hub. You can use the Maps section of this guide to find their exact location in their respective map.
None of these are permanently missable, but you may need to backtrack to find their Chest.
The Artifact Story entries all provide lore and world-building stories for many different topics around Piltover and Zaun. All 8 entries are unlocked by locating the Golden Scrambots in each map, catching them before they retreat into their escape hatch, and delivering the Atrifact the drop to Aximander at the Entresol Hideout. You can use the Maps section of this guide to find their exact location in their respective map.
None of these are permanently missable, but you may need to backtrack to find each Golden Scrambot.
The Letter entries all provide a lot of lore and world-building stories for many different topics and characters around Runeterra. All 25 entries are unlocked by finding their respective Letter on the floor around each map. You can use the Maps section of this guide to find their exact location in their respective map.
None of these are permanently missable, but you may need to backtrack to find each Letter.
The Extra entries are all additional pieces of lore or deeper explanations of subjects mentioned in the game. All entries seem to unlock by either interacting with characters or objects in the environment.
!! The last 3 entries do seem to be permanently missable, as they are unlocked by talking with Camille in the Clocktower which you cannot revisit after the first time you make it there.

Speedrunning this game is actually super fun. On my 2nd run of the game I was able to get that 2h 03m 10s run to get the No Time to Waste achievement, so it’s very lenient. Generally you’d want to play the game on the easiest setting, “Balanced”. This way you have the most amount of health for safety reasons, more Rewind Charges for time shenanigans, and overall a faster rate traversing the map and taking care of mandatory combat encounters. Obviously you’ll want to skip as much of the game as possible, ignoring almost every Chest and enemy encounter as you rush to the end.
As far as general tips go, there isn’t too much besides keep moving and play well. As long as you’re constantly progressing the story and not stopping for Chests, NPCs, & Extras, there’s almost no way to fail the achievement on a second playthrough.
If you feel inclined however, there are some really radical tricks you can pull off in a more tighter speedrun. We have a whole community on Discord dedicated to speedrunning the game and the amount of support and help they can provide is extremely beneficial if you ever want to take your time even lower. We’ve also got the game submitted on the Speedrun boards, so if you ever have a recorded run you’re proud of, feel free to submit it to the leaderboards and become a competitor.
I’ve been in the Convergence Speedrun scene from the beginning and it’s been incredible watching it grow. I hope if this achievement sparks any type of improvement, we’ll see you join in the speedrun community too.
