Let’s Pet Pets Easy Upgrading Guide for Beginners

Hey at all,

it is my personal opinion please remember you all can play the way you want to.
It is only to make it easier for you so I spilt the 15 Upgrades up to my sense of playing and I will explain sometimes why I did what I did. At this moment I have done Prestige 22 times.
Ready? Than let´s go^^

Name: Oxytocin (lvl 70 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the speed at which pets gain heart levels by 1%
Explanation: The 10 Heart – Levels will faster be reached!
~~~> More Pet Points through manual petting and easier to gain than higher Pet Levels.

Name: Petisfaction (lvl 50 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the effect of heart levels by 1%
Explanation: The more your Pet love you the more Pet points you gain from manual petting!
~~~> It´s like a handshake with the first Upgrade only one of those two is less effective.

Name: Lucky Hearts (lvl 70 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the chance of randomly gaining a heart point from manual petting by 1%
Explanation: You will gain EXTRA Hearts from petting! More chances to Upgrade or buy Eggs!
~~~> If you have to pet manual than you want to see how happy your pet is right? Wink

Name: For the love of Pets (lvl 9 from 10)
Meaning: Increases the speed at which you gain a Pet Time Bonus by 10%
Explanation: When you do manual petting (the Meter, left corner down, called Pet Time Bonus) will fill up.
~~~> This skill make it faster to fill up! The more often you can use it, the more often you get double (example normaly you get 100 Pet Points now you get 200) Pet Points and a chance to get even more random hearts Points!

Name: Seperation Anxiety (lvl 35 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the rate at which you fill the Pet Time Bonus meter while offline by 1% per minute.
Explanation: Like a handshake, if you make a break the Pet Time Bonus may be full if you come back. Less manual petting more Pet Points more random hearts points.
~~~> Most of the time I play only 3 Hours a day making a little break every Hour and than make a big break, jup I need to sleep^^.
Next day full or almost full depending on when I got offline and how long.
(Of course the larger the lvl the faster it gets full).

That remind me of some basic knowlage.

Pet Point´s are the stars that you see if you do manual petting with your pet.
(swipe your Mouse over the Egg for Hatching or the Pet for petting)
Pet Point´s are shown on the left side up (Star)^^ a bit under it is the Point´s you gain through the help of Helpers.

The Hearts you see show your Heart Points it is for Upgrading Upgrades and buying Eggs.

Than you see a Horseshoe 1 from 195.
Its proof how many Pet´s wait to meet you and how many you have found.

The last one is the most important in this game and the most tricky.
“Prestige” This Button will start to sparkle very soon but do not press it !!!!!!!!!!!!
First read, only holding mouse over the word Prestige noooooo pressing !!!!!!
You have to make sure that this sentence last one: “Gain: xxx/xxx Heart Points” is RED Colored!
Than you can press on it and be happy. ( I was a bit sad after the first time pressing it^^)
Don´t get scared yes you lose all your Pet Points, all your items (will explain later), all your Helpers but you gain a lot of Heart Point´s for faster Upgrading Upragdes.
~~~> The amount grows over time on its own.^^

Hi again^^ You did well coming this far^^
Making a break after a long reading is never wrong too, maybe a little snack too?
Now I show you the second important Upgrades and will explain some items and the funktion of the Helpers.Name: Magic touch (lvl 39 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the number of Pet Points gained from petting by 25%
Explanation: Manual Petting will give you a higher amount of Pet Points.
~~~> I am not a mathematical Person so I can´t tell you if you gain more Pet Points with Heart growing etc. or with just Upgrading Petting. I don´t care as you see on my levels.

Name: Power Petting (lvl 39 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the amount of Pet Points gained during a Pet Time Bonus by 50%
Explanation: When the Meter of Pet Time Bonus is full you gain a higher amount of Pet Points
~~~> Look at the sentence above.^^ One thing for sure together you gain so much that you see big Stars for sure^^ I personally think it has time to investigate in those.

Name: Prestigious Pets (lvl 49 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the Heart Points gained when you prestige by 5%
Explanation: If you press on the sparkling Button “Prestige” (Only RED COLORED Check bevor pressing !!!!) you will see it takes more and more time to get it lets say full.
With this skill here you reduce the amount of manual petting to be able to faster acivate it!
~~~> I missunderstood this one first I saw no changing no need and later found out the true for me I loved this skill or found it really usefull after 15 times of useing Prestige. My Personal Opinion.^^

Name: Labor Coupon (lvl 70 from 99)
Meaning: Reduces the cost of upgrading Helping Hands by 10%
Explanation: If you look at the cost of a Helper and see that there are 55 different types of it.
Than maybe (like me) your Eye´s pop out.^^ This Upgrade will lessen the cost…it is usefull.
~~~> I used this skill after 17. times of prestige because I only invest a bit in 3 Helpers and you only really see a use in it after putting lets say 35 points in it. I found more use in the other Uprades. Shrug Shoulders.

Name: Helping Hands Helping Hand (9 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the amount of Pet Points gained while offline by 10%
Explanation: Like a handshake if you have a break and come back you have more Pet Point´s for more Helper or higher lvl from helper.
~~~> Did I let you know that it seems that every Helper has a total lvl of 1 000???
I hope only one Helper found it in the Items has the 1 0000 Level. But till I know it for sure…shrug.

Soooooooo Items. You all saw the bag second Button down right side?
There will over time and Pet Point´s show up some Items that will give you an extra shoot on the Pet´s love improving, Helper Cost reduces (laugh…) or give you more Pet Poin´t from the work of your Helpers and more.^^

I beginn with for me the most usefull:

Name: Pet´s …….. (many different but all begin with Pet´s)
Meaning: Increase chance of getting Heart Points
Explanation: YES a even more higher chance to get random Heart Points.

Name: Drink´s (Different types of Drinks like Coffee, Soda, and so on)
Meaning: Increased duration of the Pet Time Bonus
Explanation: You have more time for petting your pet when you activated the Pet Time Bonus Meter (it will sparkle and you press Space).

The others that I found not of real help but if we remember its just a little item.

Name: ….. Trophy (different types of Quallity like bronze, Silver and so on)
Meaning: Decreases the cost of Helpers by (depending on which quallity 1%, 2%….)
Explanation: I saw almost no change in the cost of Helpers so… yeah, it usefull but not my thing.

There are tons of Items for the Helpers to increase the amount of Pet Point´s you gain through their hard work^^ Like I said at least for one Helper for sure lvl 1 000 it will show up^^

Now the funktion of the Helpers like the word “Helper” say, it´s only for helping.
You could buy if you have more than one pet for all pets 1 Helper lets say “Farming” than the amount you gain will be added together.
I found in the beginning buying 3 Helper for one animal is enough for extra money.
But later when you gained maybe 10 Pets than it may be smarter to buy each one a Helper.
The Pet Poin´t you gain from them…. for me it is to help you do the Quest “EARN…Pet Points”
with an animal faster and the achievement.
For Prestige… I can´t say for sure that it helps.
It surely counts in it! But I can´t say if it counts in gaining Heart´s too (RED Letters).
I checked it to late.
Now I need so much that I can´t say for sure, if I do my manual petting it is fast full (RED) but… yes…sorry my bad^^.

Phew… I will use the greeting for: Excuse me for all my maybe misspelling.

Now the last 5 Upgrades that I found yeah… uhm special maybe?
I will let you know some things about your animals too there are some icon´s you can look out for but don´t have too. And than I hope I did not forget something.^^

Name: Let´s Upgrade Upgrades (lvl 5 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the effect of all Upgrades by 1%
Explanation: Yes it is good in a way but… on the other hand… just like throwing hearts away.
~~~> I would invest here only after I have a good feeling with my pets and how they grow.

Name: : Pet Knowledge (lvl 15 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the effect of Pet Level by 1%
Explanation: You gain more Pet Point´s with manual Petting.
~~~> For me… almost needless cough.
Why? Did I tell you that every animal (195) has 10 Animal Level?
You can read it in the Patch notices but let me say my first animal is still lvl 6….
Nope I won´t answer the question how many Eggs I bought ( I have 175 Animals now)
So I think you get what I try to say? Right big smile send^^

Name: Completionist Bonus (lvl 5 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the Pet Points earned by 1% for each completed Quest
Explanation: You have lots of Pet Quest and Helpers Quest, so if you have completed some you gain Pet Point´s back after you used Prestige. My Feeling, I am sure I saw what I saw but shrug the use?

Name: Employee Pizza Party (lvl 9 from 99)
Meaning: Increases the number of Pet Points gained from Helping Hands by 10%
Explanation: You gain even more from having Helpers work for you.
~~~> Yes I know it may be a handshake with Labor Coupon but here I found it not so important.

Name: Behind the Ears (lvl1 from 10)
Meaning: Increases the duration of the Pet Time Bonus by 10 %.
Explanation: You have much longer time to enjoy the Pet Time Bonus Round.
~~~> For me noooooooooooooooooooo please just let me gooo^^
But for other more Pet Point´s more relaxed with swiping mouse.

Now the Info for your Pets!

1. Different Star from 1 to 5
The higer the star the higher the amount of Pet Points.
2. You can look at the Color too if you have enough of “Stars”
Green, Blue, Purple and Orange (From the normales to the legendary)
3. Some Pets have an Icon on their Card. (right side above of the card form the animal)
There are some without any and some with even two icon´s on it. Not a must only a random thing.^^
There is a full Sun: I think it means more Pet Point´s a Bonus added in the afternoon. (proofed)
There is a half Moon: I think it means more Pet Point´s Bonus added in the evening. (proofed)
There is a half Moon and a full Sun: I think nobody cares which time you pet you always get more out of it. (Proofed yes I love it)
There is half Sun: I think Morning??? (Not really Proofed I may have been to tired)
There is a Moon over a lets say cheesboard?: Maybe Midnight??? (Nope not Proofed don´t even wanna)
You may have seen that on the left side above the card is a number like 1,2 x (example) this one will be higher depending on the icon (if there is one).
Each animal can have a higher number on its own even without an icon.
Let´s say the Icon is a bonbon to you^^ That says here extra extra extra Pet Point´s for manual Petting.^^^

One last advice from me, yes we are done^^

If you are not used to swiping your mouse of course like all muscles that are not used. You can get wrist muscles pain. To avoid it or to make swiping with mouse easier.

1. bandage your wrist or use a wrist brace.
2. Put your Palm on the table not half in the air. And put your (me lefthanded) thumb on the left side of the mouse and your ring finger on the right side of your mouse. The other fingers just relax.
Now try useing force only in those two fingers and swipe left to right in short intervals.
When I am cold my hand is donig this move on its own^^ so for me it was easie to learn.
3. You can change your swipe mouse style.
(Its good for later different sizes of animals and different dances styles)
This will help you relax your wrist muscles a bit.
Like swipeing in cyrcles or up and down or left to right.
4. Never forget to make breaks you don´t have to force yourself. The animal get all the attention it needs from the helper^^ It will not stop loveing you only because you make a break^^
5. Eat and drink and if you know you are a person who can hardly seperate himself from something cute use an alarm! Make it a sound you hate let it ring till you say: “RRRRRRRAAAAAAWWW”. Than if you feel that you wrist start to hurt, than make a break for a whole day! Nod yes you heard it right carring for you body is one of the things you need to learn!
