For Eden’s Last Sunrise players, this is a guide to obtaining all characters, and knowing specific character, let’s check it out.
Characters Information
Across the game you will obtain characters that you can control and fight against enemies. Some characters can only be obtained via certain requirement, whereas others are obtained throughout the gameplay.
Office (Free day)
During the free day (Happens at day 5 of every week except at the day before the major operation.) one of the story character that is with you will come to the room, either giving some materials/fund, or seeking for your advice whether to train their level or their current main class.
New Game+
At NG+, you will retain those character, and any new character’s level from story will scale based on your third lowest level. They may still show up or interact with others even when they are not supposed to during Random Exploration (Free Time or Personal Task).
Trust
Some characters can be bonded with trust as you play the game within the current playthrough. However, this only applies to those “considered recruited” for that duration of the gameplay when playing at NG+. (I.E: Tez can only be bonded when playing as Spacefarer; he cannot be bonded during Dweller playthrough, but can still be utilized for missions, skill levelling, battling and for card battles. The game will retain their Trust level even when moving to a new playthrough at NG+, but will remain inactive unless above is true.)
If you are training skills with said characters that shouldn’t be usable outside NG+ or haven’t reached a certain point in the gameplay, generally it would be best to pick on a decision that affects more skill rather than trust if the decisions decides to pick them for dialogues.
Dwellers Side
This lists the character you can only get while playing under the Dweller Side.
Spacefarer Side
This lists the character you can only get while playing under the Spacefarer Side.
Both Sides
These characters can be obtained in either sides during the story progression.
Optional Characters
These characters are optional and will starts off as Neophyte. None of these characters can be bonded regardless, however recruiting them will result in their interaction presence during any random exploration/free day visit.
All of these characters are based from the developer’s previous game: “The Tenth Line”, but their presence are set in an alternate universe.
At the start of Week 15, their dispatch mission will appear as long as you haven’t recruited them yet and you have already liberated the land involved, but will disappear after Week 21.
They may occasionally arrive to the commander’s doorsteps during the free days like other recruited story characters.
Rik, once recruited, will occasionally brought up about them if he is sent for skill training for all types except for Boot Camp and Science. Entering their names during custom recruit in place of the original (or when creating a new recruit) will appear a popup with the character in question. They may also randomly appear during Random Expedition/Free Time visits as cameos even if you haven’t recruited them.
Unlike most characters, and like Alicia, Zeko and Kara, they start off with offensive unique ability and will scale their skills and level based on the highest character level when you recruit them.
Recruiting any of the below character for the first time completes the achievement “A Familiar Face”.
Non-playable Characters
These story characters aren’t obtainable, but exists here solely for reference.
