For South of the Circle players, this guide will provide you a save file for easily getting the achievement “Scholar” – Study every object in the game.
Introduction
Hey what’s happening ripper legends? It’s ya boi Flasky back with another Steam guide. Today we’re gonna be taking a look how to achieve the ‘Scholar’ achievement in South of the Circle. If by some miracle you managed to miss some collectibles, this save file will help you get the achievement with no trouble whatsoever. All you need is a computer, some fingers, and the video game South of the Circle.
You ready, guys? Here we go.
NB: Technically there are 2 other missable achievements for interacting with objects in Act II of the game:
Toy General
Play a game of toy soldiers.
While Dr. Peter Hamilton’s parents are arguing downstairs, interact with the toy soldiers next to the bed and knock them all down.
Pilot
Fly Peter’s toy plane.
Same sequence. Interact with a toy plane at the foot of the bed.
Every other achievement is story-related.
Step 1: Replace your save file
Download this savefile from Google Drive:

Replace the “SOTCSave.json” file in your “C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\LocalLow\11 bit studios\South of the Circle” with the savefile you just downloaded. If upon launching the game Steam asks whether to use Cloud Save or Local, choose Local.
Step 2: Interact with the last 2 objects
Launch the game.
Press Continue.
You should be at the start of Act III, in Norwegian base, where Dr. Peter Hamilton is disoriented.
Simply enter the 2 shacks shown in the image below, complete 2 short dialogue segments, and before exiting, interact with a document in each cabin.
The coveted ‘Scholar’ achievement should now be yours.
