General tips:
- Once per level you can bounce hard off of a platform to get 1,337 points
- The points yielded from fuel and government platforms increase with each successive one landed on in a given level
- Fuel platforms give you an additional +6 seconds on your alternate route timer; you can actually open the gate back up once it’s been closed
- If you choose to end a loop, you get progressively higher score bonuses for each extra ship you have; oddly this doesn’t help for the score milestone events for each ship
Level intro messages:
- Colony Platform Detected: there will be one of these platforms in the level somewhere; landing on it gives 1,000 points
- Distress Signal Detected: not sure; this may indicate there is a crash ship guaranteed somewhere on the level
- Manufacturing Chatter on Airwaves: there is a buddy bot platform in the level; you can trade an extra ship for a buddy bot
Crashed ships:
- Government (black) ships: can 1) trigger enemies, 2) indicate no enemies on the level, or rarely 3) give you a government keycard
- White ships: can give you 1) a fuel upgrade, 2) an extra ship, or 3) nothing (?); might be more options yet
Observatory platforms:
- Landing on it zooms out your screen and shows you an unknown (???) object
- If it is a flying triangle, land on it and it will take you to a special level where the reward is an ankh; I’m not sure what the ankh does yet
Choosing the ‘Hit the Red Button’ random upgrade:
- Can get a cosmetic party mode
- Can generate 3 black holes at beginning of level (maybe more?)
- Can reverse the controls
- Can start random explosions
- There is more but I need to write it down as I play
