For MY LITTLE PONY: A Maretime Bay Adventure players, this is a guide to completing the game and the location of all Magic Bits.
Brighthouse Hills
An Adorable Thief
The first quest in the game, a straightforward example of the controls. Get Sunny’s saddlebag from the bunny.
There are 137 bits in this chapter, and they are generally straightforward to collect. I will generally not mention bits that are straight on the path or anywhere you’ll walk to by fulfilling your objectives.
Bit and Pinata Locations:
Just below where the game starts
On top of the two hills you walk by after jumping over the log
Above where you first see the bunny
By the time you jump over this ledge with the first bunny hole, you should have 73 bits.
It is worth noting that every jump-flower you grow will give you 4 bits, though you will use all of them to progress the story and collect mentioned bits so I will not mention them further.
Bit and Pinata Locations:
Just above the bridge you must cross to collect Sunny’s bag
You should leave this area with 137 bits, totaling, well, 137 bits.
Crystal Brighthouse
Unicycling
The second quest, fetch Izzy’s tools to the right and up the hill of where she stands.
Mane Street Awaits!
Third quest, follow Hitch’s instructions to assist the bunnies.
There are 352 bits in this chapter, still easy to collect though a tad more out of the way than the preceding chapter.
Bit and Pinata Locations:
To the left immediately after entering the area
Infront of the Brighthouse door after rescuing the butterfly
Above the path to the right of the Brighthouse
To the left of the path after climbing up the sloped log, make sure to collect the bits on the log you traveled under.
To the right of the path after climbing up the sloped log, grow the flower and travel across the bridge
Make sure to collect the bits under the bridge as well.
When talking to Izzy, you should have 254 bits
Make sure to activate every flower when collecting Izzy’s tools.
After reaching town, remember to activate every station similar to the one used to repair the bridge, they give quite a few bits!
You will obtain every bit in this area by completing Hitch’s tasks, with two pinatas being in the carrot pens.
In this minigame, avoid excessively sharp turns and try to get large wedges of bunnies to optimize your trips to the return gate. Avoid the rough dirt patches on the ground or the bunnies will stop following you. Be wary of guiding bunnies near the barrows as the barrows may absorb a large portion of your guided flock.
Make sure to get at least 700 points on this activity to get all three checkpoints.
You should end this chapter with 352 bits, totaling 489.

The fourth quest, fetch the paint and help repair Pipp’s billboard.
Glowing Up
Use any changing mirror, you’re required to use one to put on the badge to get past Hitch.
Get 500 Magic Bits
There are 496 bits in this chapter, a lot on the awnings and plenty off the beaten path.

To the right of Izzy and on the awnings near the platform
Around and below the central fountain
Above the group of bully bunnies, use the flower to jump up
To the right of the back-up dancer’s hiding spot in the air
Around the central fountain to the left of the billboard
Above the cart to the left of the billboard
You will finish this chapter with 862 bits, you will get the rest of the bits in this chapter in the future.

Get 1000 Magic Bits
There are 412 bits in this chapter, almost all are out in the open with the exception of 16 that you can only obtain later on.
Bit and Pinata Locations:
On top of the paint stall, deliver his pumpkin request first.
Below the paint stall on the road.
Above the orange fruit stand, jump from the rock outcrop
Several on the ground and in a tree to the right of Sprout
There are several bits on the high and the low ground in the platforming segment, make sure to collect all of them!
Before talking to Zoom you should have 1083 bits
W.I.N.G.S. Cadet
After talking and completing Zoom’s course, talk to them a second time and complete the roller skate version. This gives an additional 16 bits!
Similar to the previous herding game, now with crabs. I recommend focusing on herding bunnies, as you’ll often herd the majority of the crabs without trying to. This is unfortunately also the activity you may have to repeat the most, as the random pathing of the crabs and bunnies can hurt your chances of hitting the required 525 points.
After playing the herding minigame, head to the right and repair the bridge, collecting the bits on the road along the way.
If you missed any bits, return to the bully bunnies to progress the story and return to find the ones you missed. This is the start of bit placements being a bit tricky, so don’t feel dismayed if you don’t find it at first, go around a few times and you’ll spot it!
You should end this chapter with all 412 bits, totaling to 1298 once you help with the bully bunnies.
Beach Cove
Where Did The Magic Go?
The first quest in the game, a straightforward example of the controls. Get Sunny’s saddlebag from the bunny.
Starscout
Collect 1500 Magic Bits
There are 539 bits in this chapter, and these will be the most out of place out of any chapters in the run. Make sure to go all the way up and down the screen whenever you go through an area!
Bit and Pinata Locations:
A little outcrop just below the entrance to the level
Below the fountain to the left of the entrance
Above the awnings of the building above the fountain
A small area below and to the right of Zoom. Further in that direction past a jump there are a lot of loose bits and a pinata on a beach.
Below Zipp’s billboard
There are a large amount of loose bits all over the lower beach. Bounce between the umbrellas with the use of a jump flower to collect most of them, as well as obtaining the pinata above the smoothie shack.
To the left of Babette’s cave and over some jumping rocks there are a series of loose bits and a pinata at the end
After helping Hitch herd the rest of the gang bunnies, head up the hill and challenge Zipp to a race, making sure not to miss the bits around the area where you can knock over a log to form an optional pathway.
After Zipp’s race giving you bits totaling to about 1837 bits, you will have one final act, a confrontation with Sprout.

The final achievement and the last quest of the game, confronting Sprout about his actions.
Not much to say about this race, follow the on-screen instructions and Izzy will give Sprout a concussion for which he will receive no medical or monetary compensation
