Morels: The Hunt Fast Finding Morel Spawns Guide

Warning – Please read the introduction carefully before proceeding further into the guide.

Probably I haven’t found all of the spots but I will update this guide with extra spots when I find any. I played on an easy mode but playing on a normal mode shouldn’t make any difference. In this guide you will find seven different maps that you can find in the game with flag spots. These flags represent the spawns of Morels. Some of the spots are quite big. That’s why, in some screenshots you might find many flags in a single spot.

I found it easier playing at night. Of course you will need a Head Lamp to see at night. When you equip the item, it will be easier to spot Morels as they will shine when you approach them. Unfortunately if you play at night, your eyes might get tired very quickly because it requires you to strain your eyesight so make sure to take extra breaks for your safety. You will have to watch for wild animals like wolfs, foxes or bears. When you see them, they might run away from you, if you are unlucky, they will attack you. If you have energy to survive an attack, you’ll be fine, otherwise you will respawn the next day.

I hope this little guide will help you get points, finish weekly tasks and even get some Steam achievements. Personally when I go Morel hunting, I go to Rocky Mountain. Redwood looks promising as well, but it is a much larger area to discover and it takes more time to get from point A to B.

Notice 1 – Some mushrooms might spawn in the water, inside the tree or texture. Also, sometimes outside the boundary fence.
