This guide is here to help you catch all rare endemic life available in Monster Hunter Word Iceborne with MINIMAL effort and time. Note that this guide only cover rare and gold crown variant as common endemic life are easy to spot and catch.
Preparation
1. Unlock Ghillie Suit
Unlock this mantle. Very much a staple equipment for our quest in hunting down this critters. While certain endemics might not need ghillie at all. You might need to rethink that when sighting crakes with no ghillie at your disposal.
2. Eat Felyne Zoomaster
This one is certainly mandatory. This will increases likelihood of rare endemics life to appear. Take note that this buff disappear once you return from expedition (visit Seliana/Astera).
3. Get Felyne Macrozoologist
If you want the Gold Crown variant. This buff is for you. Unfortunately, this skills is a daily skill meaning that you must rotate until this buff appear on your canteen. Take note that this buff disappear once you return from expedition (visit Seliana/Astera).
4. Do not pick locale with [unknown] weather
[unknown] weather will appear when there is an elder dragon in the locale. Odd of spawning for endemic life is little to none under this condition. AVOID this by simply hunting in different locale for the moment.
Route #1: Coral Highlands

- Gold Crown Burst Arowana
Locale: Coral Highlands
Time: Night (Higher odd of spawning)

They are more bigger and slightly darker than their elegant counterpart. Spawned in numbers of 4 instead of 3.
Next, head left from where you jump earlier and you can find 2 spots where wigglers are spawning Among them might be Wiggler Queen. Easy to spot by their orange color.
Head back to where you jump before and go straight to sector 6. At the entrance of sector 6 (in sector 4), there are multiple Elegant Coralbird where Dapper can spawn. Crouch into sector 6 and head downward until you can find another flock of Elegant Coralbird. Again, Dappers might spawn among them.

Downy Crakes and Bristly Crakes
Time: Day/Night/Dusk/Dawn
Weather: Clear/Rainy
1. Do the Skyward Sniper event quest
In the event quest Skyward Snipers, a pack of them are guaranteed to spawn atop a Grandfather Mantagrell in Area 12.
2. Switch Locale between Ancient Forest and Wildspire Waste
While this is not a reliable method but still feasible, switching between the locales will spawn reset the downy crakes. Fast travel to camp 1 and take a look on the back of Aptonoth/Apceros. If the critters is not there, switch to Ancient Forest/Wildspire again and repeat.
Time: Day/Night/Dusk/Dawn
Weather: Clear/Rainy
1. Do the Rotten Vale Path (Route #2)
In my opinion this is probably the fastest method to make bristly crake spawn on the back of mosswine in sector 15. If the bristly crake is not there, simply reset the locale by going to other locale and then going back to Rotten Vale.
